2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Step out onto either of the two private balconies and you’re looking out over a sweeping lagoon and the 4th green of the Links Golf Course — one of Wild Dunes’ signature Tom Fazio-designed layouts. Watch the wildlife settle into the lagoon at dusk, follow the golfers through the fairway at sunrise, or simply settle in with a good book and let the Lowcountry do its thing.

Inside, Lagoon Villa 25 is comfortable and well-appointed — two bedrooms each with two queen beds and their own full bath, a fully stocked kitchen, and a layout that works beautifully for families, couples traveling together, or a multigenerational group. The Lagoon Villas community pool is just outside, and the beach is a short walk away. Bike rentals are within walking distance for those who want to explore Wild Dunes’ scenic trails.

Lagoon Villa 25 guests have exclusive access to the Lagoon Villas community pool. Please note that the pools at the Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved for resort hotel guests only and are not available to vacation rental guests. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your villa community.

🏋️ Fitness

The fitness center at Wild Dunes is reserved for resort hotel guests only. We recommend the Isle of Palms Recreation Center as a fantastic alternative — featuring a cardio room, fitness classes, and brand new courts just a quick drive down Palm Blvd.

🎾 Tennis & Pickleball

Pay-to-play court time is available at the Wild Dunes Tennis Center. We also recommend the free tennis and pickleball courts at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center — just a quick drive down Palm Blvd!

⛳ Golf
