The Space: Welcome to 493 Luxury Suites – Your Stylish Stay on Iconic King Street!
Located on the second floor of a beautifully restored historic building—right above Sewing Down South as seen on Southern Charm—this luxurious suite places you in the heart of Charleston’s most vibrant street.

Step inside to a spacious, open-concept living area designed for comfort and connection. The plush seating (including a queen-sized sleeper sofa) is perfect for group hangouts, and the 60” Smart TV is preloaded with all your favorite streaming apps. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for everything from morning coffee to gourmet meals.

You’ll rest easy in two beautifully furnished bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and Smart TV. The primary suite features a private ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom has access to a full hallway bath—both with shower/tub combinations. A washer and dryer are also included for your convenience.

Need Parking?
We offer a private parking pass for $20/day. Simply contact our concierge at least 24 hours before arrival with your name, suite, vehicle details, and dates. Your pass will be waiting in your unit—just display it clearly and avoid personal spots or the Morris Brown AME Church fence to prevent towing or booting.

This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis
offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the
peninsula. The property includes a swimming pool, onsite eateries for breakfast, lunch,
dinner, trendy cocktails, and of course poolside cabanas! It also includes an indoor gym and
fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private
and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

*Day Passes are for an extra cost. Pricing is created by the Wonderer, guest will receive a link after booking to see cost breakdown.

*Access to the Wonderer is Subject to change based on Seasonality, Weather factors, and are
first come, first serve, so please make sure to confirm operating hours for the dates of your stay. For visits between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly recommend booking in advance to ensure access. Groups of 8 or more guests are strongly encouraged to book a cabana in advance to ensure an ultimate, premium experience poolside

All guests must be at least 25 years or older to access the Club unless approved is given by The Wonderer management team.

Fantastic location and property. Visiting our daughter at College of Charleston and we’re very happy with this stay. Place was just as advertised - clean, quiet, and located in the heart of King Street. We dined close by and lived the parking so close by for the weekend. Linen and towels all clean and soft. Great location. Easy walk to many sites, restaurants, etc. Communication with manager was timely and easy. HVAC units were a bit fussy and no windows/natural light in bedrooms were the only negatives.

Great location!

Convenient location. Close to shops and food but loud and had a terrible chemical cleaner smell that couldnt be airedout. The AC unit in front bedroom woke us up 4x making a very loud noise throughout the night we atayed.
