My mother named our home in 1993 when we purchased it from the orginal owner. And downstairs name is "The Wolff Den"!

We truly have a special home at
"THE EDGE OF AMERICA"!

WE ARE 100 YARDS FROM THE BEACH, FISHING PIER, TIDES HOTEL, AND OUR COMMERCIAL DISTRICT!

YOU CANNOT ASK FOR A BETTER PLACE AND THE OWNER'S Hospitality!

My father & I renovated the entire downstairs to make
"The Wolff Den" something special.
There are two rooms plus a covered patio and a concrete area for you personal use. You now can grill out and have fresh seafood, steak, etc.. on our brand new gas grill right outside your door. We added a small "Oster" oven one big enough to baked potatoes, pizza, bread, veggies. Also on the grill there is a side burner for eggs and bacon to start your morning off.

When you walk into the unit you will find our kitchenette, with your appliances, full refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and our new Oster oven....sink for washing dishes and a large shower.

Then you will walk into the bedroom area with a queen size bed, a futon for a 3rd person, a new desk in case you need to touch base with work , a new flat screen 40" TV install on the wall which can be moved for your viewing with 200 channels n free wi/fi provided by Comcast. And you have your half bath area.

There are 2 separate doors you can used to enjoy your covered patio to relax, catch up with one another or just sit and watch the 'Folly's" walk by...what a site that is!! lol...
Brand new furniture including a love seat, 2 nice chairs, and a glass table.

Also we have a table to use to eat, drink, and be merry.

You will enjoy your stay with us!

We also provide private off street parking which is a huge advantage that you will definitely appreciate!

Awesome stay. You can’t beat the location, it was in the middle of everything and no more than a 3 minute walk to the beach. The host was super responsive and helpful all week. The property was very clean when we arrived.

Perfect Location

Short walk to the beach and all of the local bars and restaurants. Well kept unit, but compact. Works great for two people who want a small kitchen for quick breakfasts and snacks but not cooking full meals. Very much enjoyed our stay and would rent it again.

Perfect location!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at this home. It was just as pictured. Perfect for the two of us. The location was within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. I would highly recommend this rental!!

Great Location of a typical old style Beach Cottage

We had a pleasant stay and felt very welcome from the moment we arrived—having a clearly marked parking spot was a big plus in this small, bustling beach town. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the town center, yet it stayed surprisingly quiet at night despite being near clubs and nightlife.The entrance to the ground-floor apartment is a little tucked away but easy enough to find. Inside, we noticed a slight musty smell and some dampness, which seemed to be addressed with air fresheners and moisture absorbers. Running the window A/C helped reduce the humidity.The apartment matched the description, though it felt a bit tight with the amount of furniture for the small space. The bathroom was compact but clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water.One thing to note: there isn’t a proper indoor table for dining or working. The only option was a small folding tray table located in the kitchen/shower area, which made eating or using a laptop a bit inconvenient.The TV offered lots of free channels, and the Wi-Fi worked well with a solid connection. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like coffee filters, Coffee Mate, and a full-size fridge with ice. The bed was very comfortable, though the pillows weren’t our favorite—consider bringing your own if you're picky. The rest of the furniture was in good shape.All in all, this was a decent stay in a fantastic location, with just a few minor drawbacks.

Perfect Beach Getsway

Steps away from the beach and Center Street (all the great restaurants), this was the perfect place to stay for a beach getaway. Small, but clean and cozy, with all the necessities, making us feel right at home. The patio was also a perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and unwind with some wine at night! We enjoyed walks in the morning followed by brunch, beach and dinners ar night. Everything is walkable. My son’s favorite part was renting a bike and cruising the island. Folly Beach is also really close to downtown Charleston and Shem Creek! Carl was a great host and attentive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back again soon!

Great place!

We had a great vacation staying here! Carl is excellent to work with and has great communication throughout. The place is snug but it was just right for us. It's a short walk to the beach and there's a lot of restaurants, shops and a store nearby. Everything we needed was there and we will definitely book again! Highly recommend this place! Can't wait to go back!
