This beautiful home is situated in the South Hills, a quaint neighborhood of Charleston, West Virginia. Within walking distance are parks, restaurants, coffee and trails for walking or jogging. Less than 5 minutes from downtown as well as major shopping areas, the airport, local hospitals and the University, this home is perfectly located for your stay in West Virginia.

Home is absolutely beautiful with original detail but very well updated to keep things easy. Instructions to enter and how to locate the home were perfect. Thank understand they have two other properties in the area- I’d go with these folks any day! Looking forward to our next Charleston visit.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is in a quiet neighborhood, very well maintained and stocked, and accommodated our group well. We would definitely stay again. As a note, these things do not take away from the 5 start review, but would be nice to note for your first time: the driveway is extremely steep, so if you plan to park in back just know that. Secondly, the house is old and extremely cute, but the floors squeak. So early morning tiptoe-ing is required :).

Loved staying at this house! Quiet neighborhood and enjoy sitting on the front porch. Plenty of beds and space inside the house to relax. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking and grill was nice on the front porch!

Made some great memories here with our grown sons! We came from Magnolia, TX and Nashville to see my heritage where I grew up. This house was the perfect location and vibe for us. We all just kept saying how perfect it is. The owners thought of every detail and it showed! Thanks for an epic weekend! Highly recommend!

More than expected

This quaint property has so much to offer: location, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room to spread out, fun games for adults (and kids), gorgeous front porch with plenty of comfy seating, great updates in kitchen and bathrooms, etc. My cousin said, "You're giving this a 5-star rating, right?" Absolutely!

Charming and Quiet

Lovely old house with character, beautiful woodwork, and a fresh feel. It’s a place that feels like home as soon as you walk in. Our whole party was comfortable, and the multiple living spaces (bedrooms, basement, bonus sun room with a day bed) gave everyone plenty of room. Gorgeous porch, comfortable beds, clean and tidy bathrooms—we just loved it! Quick drive to the Civic Center and an incredibly quiet neighborhood. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Great house in Charleston!

I stayed with a group of old college girlfriends and it was the perfect house for us! Very accommodating with many kitchen gadgets and appliances. There was plenty of space for the five of us in living spaces and in beds. I could see how also this would be great for a family as well because there were a lot of kid friendly features as well, like a bath tub, toy/games and high chair/bedding accommodation. Great host that responded very quickly! If ever meeting up near Charleston again we will definitely stay here! Thanks again!

Beautiful house, convenient location

The house is just as pictured, well stocked, and comfortable for a family! We enjoyed walking to the stores and restaurants on the hill, as well as the short drive to anywhere in Charleston. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable family home

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and well appointed and the owner responsive. Our oversize vehicle struggled with the parking, but that's not unusual for us. Our kids loved the ping pong table.

Felt like Home

We absolutely loved our stay in your lovely home. Clean, beautiful sunrise views, great location for walking to spectacular restaurants! We all felt so at home and at the risk of sounding a little “woowoo”, the house holds such great energy. The specialness was palpable. ❤️

Wild and Wonderful HOG Rally

This location is ideal for getting around town and the interstate. This charming house was well supplied and the bedrooms can accommodate 6-8 people easily. The driveway slopes and the garage can provide shelter for motorcyles however the driveway needs patching.
