  • Villa Maripol is a modern and independent villa with a private swimming pool, located on the Island of Crete.
    The villa has been furnished with taste and style and disposes of any modern comfort to guarantee practicality and ease to guests who stay there. The villa can sleep up to 4/5 people thanks to its 2 bedrooms and other common areas.
    Next to Villa Maripol there is the identical Villa Popi (with private pool and private garden) the 2 villas are rentable individually or together: to have the property at your complete disposal, in fact, you just have to open the gate bordering the two private gardens of the two units, each including a private swimming pool and an area equipped for outdoor dining.
    The position of Villa Maripol Villas is perfect to discover the Island of Crete and to reach its beautiful beaches.

    At guests' disposal: a private fenced garden, a private swimming pool (4,4 x 3,9 x 1,4 m), an outdoor area with table and chairs to dine outside , air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area , free wi-fi internet connection, parking on the property or outside in a public space, seaside at less than 1 km

The property was good, had all we needed, the pool is slightly small but it was ok.The only issue we had was, parking the car was very tight in getting in out out.

Vi hade en bra vistelse. Boendet var över förväntan och såg bättre ut i verkligheten än på bilderna. Värden var trevlig och var enkel att nå samt hjälpsam. Jag kan starkt rekommendera boendet.

My family and I stayed at Villa Maripol for 9 nights and I honestly cannot fault it. First of all, the inside of the villa was spotlessly clean and the perfect size for a family stay. The beds were so comfortable and lovely bathrooms. The outside of the villa was just as clean as the inside, the pool was amazing and the perfect temperature, the sun loungers were lovely and the view of crete from the villa is absolutely beautiful. On our first day we were greeted by Kostas who was so friendly, kind and helpful. He gave us a welcome pack of continental breakfast items and recommended us with nearby beaches and supermarkets when we asked. The villa was well equipped with kitchen appliances, hand soap and shower gel etc which made our stay feel easy and homely. Half way through our stay a cleaner came to thoroughly clean the villa as well as a pool cleaner which is always great to see. We had the most wonderful stay at this villa as a family and I highly recommend it if you are looking to stay in Crete. We will never forget this holiday and the villa made it extra special. Thank you Kostas for your services, care and hospitality!

Perfection! Great villa for a holiday in Crete. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely views from upstairs ,good wifi and aircon. Pool and sun loungers great. Off street oarking Lovely welcome pack of food and nice touches such as shower gel. Costa who greeted us was very welcoming and the cleaning lady was lovely, both were helpful and welcoming .

When asked my family the highlight of this 10-day trip to Crete, the answer was "the house". I think that summarizes our experience with the Villa and, in particular, with the host who was always alert. Permanent care of the pool, new towels and sheets every third day, all worked to perfection including all the very new equipment the Villa has. We will miss Crete but most certainly we'll miss this place. We'll be back!

This villa was immaculate and the host was lovely and very helpful. The beds are so comfortable and kitchen has everything you need. The pool was perfect in the heat. When we arrived there was food in the fridge and very welcoming. The Villa is in a private area at the top of a slight hill, which is good exercise to Kalamaki beach and restaurants. We used the buses which were regular and cheap into Chania. Would definitely come back to this villa. ????

The villa is lovely just like the pictures and walking distance from some small shops / restaurants. Good distance to explore the whole west side of the island in a car. The hosts Kosta and Poppy were very nice and allowed us a later check out which we really appreciated. Very comfy beds and someone came to clean/change sheets half way through. The agency this listing uses is obviously very busy / understaffed. I had to call twice to get a response and did not feel the personal touch in the booking process.

Villa Maripol is a lovely property. It is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Easy walking distance to small shops and restaurants although the walk back up the hill is a little more challenging. Kostas, the owner is extremely helpful organising a taxi for us to go to a wine tasting experience. It is also a bonus that the house was cleaned with new towels and bedding twice during our stay. The pool is 1;4metres deep which is fine although may not be suitable for young children who are not confident swimmers. My only slight negative is that there really isn't any view from this villa as the twin property Villa Popi is directly in front of Villa Maripol so if you have the option I'd definitely go for Villa Popi as the view from that villa is spectacular, looking out across the whole bay.
