If you are looking for a place to get away and defrag from your busy life, This A-frame cottage offers all the comforts of home in a quiet, secluded area that has been described as refreshing and renewing. Surrounded by captivating views and the sounds of nature and within minutes of local shopping, dining, year-round festivals as well as the historic Capitol Theatre, you’ll quickly see why our guests become family. Sit by the campfire and make some s’mores! (Chairs and Firewood provided)

    Experience a piece of history with a tour of Gettysburg battlefield or visit one of our local wineries, all within an hours drive. Want to take a day trip? We are central to the following cities: Gettysburg, Washington DC, Baltimore MD.

My fiancée and I booked this cabin because it was conveniently located about 20 minutes away from Shippensburg University where the Track&Field State Championship was being held. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and loved the vibes of the cabin and how private it felt.

Chambersburg Visit

Cabin was very beautiful, comfortable and the location to eating and shopping was excellent. Especially enjoyed the time we sit on the deck. Will definitely stay here during our next visit to Chambersburg.

Quaint and Quiet

Stayed for 4th of July Weekend for a nice, quiet weekend away from Baltimore and enjoyed the local fireworks, quiet evening, and grazing cows. It was isolated, but not too far from stores. Was exactly as described, and enjoyed the grill and fire pit!

Great Cabin!!!

Our stay at this property was excellent. Nice quiet location and a beautiful cabin. All items in the property were top shelf, from the furniture to the faucet. Great communication with owner and I would recommend this property to anyone needing somewhere to stay in the Chamberburg area.

The amenities were as nice as any place we've ever stayed. The location was great; secluded with cows as neighbors but only minutes from Chambersburg. We were lucky to have perfect weather and made ample use of the deck.

My husband and I decided on a weekend getaway for my birthday . This place was perfect. It was clean, quiet, with just enough room. A small family of 4 could rent this place. I will definitely want to rent here again.

Great Quiet Weekend

My boyfriend and I had a lovely, quiet weekend at the Cedar Hill Cottage. We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend and everything was clean and well maintained. Check in was a breeze and the house was well stocked with neccesities. The surrounding area was really pretty as well, with great local restaurants and a relatively close drive to a few state parks where we went hiking. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Beautiful and quaint cottage

Loved our 2 night stay at Cedar Hill cottage. Secluded off the main road on a beautiful piece of property. Selena was a gracious host who was readily available to answer any questions we had. This cottage is full of amenities that we thoroughly enjoyed. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Repeat stay

The layout of this house is fun for my kids—with the loft and the spiral staircase—and works really well for my family. This was our second time to stay at Cedar Hill Cottage and we enjoyed it just as much as last year. The yard is well-kept and great for playing catch and paper airplane competitions.
