The location of the hotel is very nice. Aside from that, the rest of the experience was disappointing at best. Upon, check-in we were informed of an additional $30 a day "resort fee" that was not included in the amount I paid Expedia. I assumed I had covered all of the expenses when I booked through Expedia. That was not the case. What's worse, is the amount on the invoice was $40 not $30. There was also a $6 tax on the $40. So, I was hit with a $46 a day fee. Not Cool!
We left the room to go to the beach with the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. When we came back, the room was in the process of being cleaned. They were also making AC upgrades that required us to leave the room for 1/2 an hour one day. All in all, very disappointing. I will not be returning to the Pierside.

"Beautiful hotel!!! Extremely clean, nice room, nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fitness room! Had a great pizza at the dining room. All the staff we experienced were very friendly and helpful! highly recommend this hotel!"
