Recently refurbished with exquisite craftsmanship by local artisans, the house seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings, utilizing materials such as stone, wood, cork, calcium silicate, cellular glass, and iron. The exterior is adorned with olive, lemon, rosemary, and vibrant flowers, enhancing the overall allure of the residence.

    The lake view terrace offers an idyllic outdoor retreat, complete with full furnishings—an alluring setting invites delightful outdoor breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, allowing guests to savor the natural beauty of the lakeside surroundings..     The kitchen and dining room provide delightful spaces for hosting lunches and dinners, while a glassed-in veranda serves as a welcoming entry point, doubling as a serene area for reading and relaxation.

    The house is located in Cernobbio, on a private street overlooking the first basin of Lake Como accessible by car with private parking. The house is equipped with free WI-FI, satellite TV in each bedroom, air conditioning throughout the house including the veranda, controlled mechanical ventilation 24 hours a day (natural air circulation).

The house is incredible and you truly can’t beat the view! We had a splendid stay at the Toldino house. We may have underestimated the ease of getting into town, mostly because it rained some of our stay so the walk was not as enjoyable. However, if you hire a private driver there is no worries. The taxi service was slightly more difficult to arrange. The house overall is incredible and so beautiful. It was nice to be in a peaceful neighborhood and have our own space. Everything from our point of contact during our stay to Jennifer suggesting wonderful excursions was excellent. We had the best time with Frank and crew the first night for a private dinner and would highly recommend for any guests! Overall, great experience!

Dual Review

We ended up staying at this house and the property next door because of a electrical issue (a nuisance rather than a safety issue). Both were very nice properties with some features that were slightly different but overall you couldn't go wrong with, as Dr. Seuss would say, "House 1" or "House 2". We enjoyed the neighborhood and liked the fact that we could walk to and from town (good exercise on the way up the hill!) or take an exhilarating, but safe ride up and down the hairpin turns. Many thanks to the hosts who were very helpful before and during the rental. In the end, it certainly was fortunate that they are hosts with several properties under their management. It was a very nice tie to visit the Como area at this time of year. We hope to return again. And yes, the view is as advertised.
