Set over three floors in the quiet village of Štiška vas, below the slopes of Krvavec, this villa is built for slow, restorative days. The heated pool sits on a sunny terrace looking out over the Gorenjska countryside. The barrel sauna waits on its own timber deck in the fenced garden, and a calm relaxation room with wooden loungers against a stone-clad wall gives you somewhere to rest between rounds. When it’s time to eat, the outdoor kitchen with a kamado-style grill and a dining table opens straight onto the view, while the balcony adds a lounge sofa and a second table for long evenings outside. Inside, a fireplace anchors the living room, with a comfortable sofa, a TV and wide windows onto the terrace. A farmhouse-style dining table with cross-back chairs sits beside the country kitchen, where wooden worktops and a farmhouse sink come with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle and coffee machine, plus a wine fridge in the kitchenette.

Underfloor heating and air conditioning keep the house comfortable in every season, and a pool table and table football fill rainy afternoons. A private washing machine, free Wi-Fi, a safe, ski and bike storage and covered parking for 2 cars round off an easy self-catering stay.

Location

Tucked into the hillside of Štiška vas at the foot of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, the villa is around a 10-minute drive from the valley cable car station for Krvavec. The cable car runs all year round. In winter it carries you up to around 30 km of pistes, and in summer to a bike park and hiking trails across the high mountain pastures. After a day on the slopes or the trails, the sauna and pool are waiting back at the house. For everyday needs, the centre of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, with its shops, restaurants and supermarkets, is around a 10-minute drive. Lake Preddvor and the golf course at Brdo pri Kranju are each about a 20-minute drive away. Lake Bled is around 40 minutes by car, and the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana, about 35 minutes. Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is approximately a 20-minute drive from the villa.
