"The location was great. Close to restaurants, whole foods and the embassies. When I arrived I was notified I would have two double beds not the king I booked. Also, the parking was pricier than listed on Expedia.. This hotels walls are pretty thin. Additionally, the bed I had squeaked loud just by adjusting sleeping potions and very much needed repaired- my husband’s bed was fine. I weigh 135. "Well maintained old fashioned hotel with modern amenities. Staff helpful and friendly."

"The first room we got checked into smelled like vomit, straight up. We could pinpoint it was coming from a side table. We contacted the front desk and they put us in another room right away. The furniture in the rooms is super pleasant and modern which is a nice contrast against the old building. The bar is awesome! "

"Charming hotel and very friendly staff especially during check-in. My one and only complaint is how noisy my stay was. I highly recommend asking for a room far away from the house-keeping closet space because they are constantly in and out and shutting doors at all hours of the day. The doors to the rooms need to be sealed better but I understand it's an older hotel."

"Nice room, pretty hotel. Lots of construction in the area at this time. This is the second time we’ve stayed, and the second time I’ve received random charges on my credit card that I had to ask about. During this stay we couldn't check in until 4:30 given a glitch in their system ( the room was ready but the front desk couldn’t “release it”). A couple of minutes turned into 30. "
