"Nice location with good private parking. £6 in a taxi into the main town. Our room was spacious with a big double bed. The fitting and decor is quite dated and a bit tired but its clean. The shower however was terrible, no pressure at all. Breakfast, included on our deal, was very good. We didn't use the leisure suite but it looked really nice. All the staff were very good."

"We booked one night here to start our first family holiday tour of Cornwall. We could not rate this place anymore. A lovely friendly welcome amd stay. The landlord couldn’t have done enough for us and the newly refurbished room was first class. We were then treated to a wonderful full Cornish breakfast before leaving for our next stay. "I loved staying at Jacob's Ladder. The rooms are gorgeous and the owners are fabulous. You can walk all over Falmouth from this location. The pub is fun and family friendly. The food is great. My room was very quiet. I'll definitely stay here again!! "

"The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to help you with your requests. I would have given the hotel the full 5 stars on every single aspect but unfortunately, although the bathroom was clean, there were a lot of hair on the floor. The shower took a very long time to get to the right temperature and the water pressure was only a trickle. Hence low score. Sorry. My served breakfast was cold on day 1 but was nice and hot day 2."

"Great stay in a room 11 which was more like a little separate home. Food quality was good and staff were nice. While overall cleanliness was decent, we had hairs in shower and over our toilet and my parent had some mess in their bathroom too. Really liked the branded ‘newspapers’ with the property details and its history, as well as the separate lounge downstairs."

"A lovely B&B set in a quiet countryside location and yet close to many of Cornwall’s attractions. The property was extremely comfortable with June being the perfect host. The breakfast was outstanding with many choices available. The only improvement that could be made would be a better WiFi signal in the room but this did not affect our stay in any way.
