"Pros: * Amazing location with beautiful views. * Generous room sizes. * Well-catered breakfast spread. Cons: * Lack of Hospitality: For a 5-star property where we booked a premium room, the service fell far short of expectations. "The room had a spectacular view of the sea, uninterrupted and it was was very comfortable, and immaculate. The host, Jorge was very warm and welcoming too. He was extremely helpful and responsive with all the requests we asked for. Altogether, an amazing place to be in at Calheta."

"Property was immaculate. Great views. Customer service responded quickly. Having a kitchen on site, parking, decent size fridge/freezer and coffee machine… all big bonuses. Only downside was the laundry machine and dryers were very small and even after drying for an hour our clothes were still wet. Overall, I would stay again but don’t depend on the laundry facilities being fast. 😅"

"1905 Zino’s Palace is an historical gem on Madeira Portugal. The food was so outstanding and delicious that we ate all three dinners there. Plus we had a lunch when we arrived that was convenient and yummy. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge selection of goodies plus eggs to order. The employees, each and every one of them was helpful, talkative and enjoyable. To stay there and know your money is being put into a historical building is worth every penny. You feel like you have gone back in...

"Lovely accommodations, delicious food, and super helpful staff. One thing to note, if you are through hiking - make sure to check with reception what time the latest check-in time is beforehand, as they don't have 24/hr reception."

"Great stay and right at start of PR19 trail..2300 steps down to ocean. Only challenge was parking..but it was available with a 8min walk."
