Cabin 16 had lovely flowing waters behind it, a great stay for the price. Very no frills camping similar to a state park rustic cabin in terms of space. If there had been tents at every site booked it may have felt more crowded but our stay in Spring was private and peaceful.

Cabin provided NO SHEETS, BLANKETS or PILLOWS, nor INDOOR PLUMBING. I would have NEVER EVEN CONSIDERED any lodging listed on Expedia would not provide those two things. Additionally, cabin was over booked. I didn't appreciate not knowing if my family has a place to stay that late at night after a long busy day of traveling. They found us another cabin that was less convenient to access (I had heavy items to unload) and no walkway to the door (just a bunch of roots to trip over) and no lighting to see said roots. Also, could you make the cabin number signs any smaller and harder to see? Ever consider some signage to guide the direction of cabins, or God forbid an 8x4 sheet of plywood that you paint a camp map on so visitors who arrive at night have some clue of where they are going?

The property is small, which is super nice and I was able to park alongside the cabin. There is a lake on the property that you can fish at. The Indian lake is a private property which was unfortunate and I didn’t know that was the whole reason I wanted to go to this cabin. You can access the marina, but it’s small. There is a fire pit. There were no sheets, no firewood in the picture. I thought there was gonna be sheets so we didn’t bring any. We had to buy some Expedia did not disclose that there would be no sheets unless you contact the property and reserve them. I found out on the actual property website. There’s not much to do around the campground unless you drive 20 minutes and the only store was dollar general

Very clean and spacious! A nice outdoor area, working heater, lights, and plugs!! Neighbors close by but still have plenty of privacy. Parking was great!

Never had a chance to check in. Would have been nice to get an email more than 48 hours before arrival since the location needs 48 hours prior notice to check in on a weekend. They took out money and Accepted the reservation with a Sunday check in. Ended up booking another option with no refund since we tried checking in at check in time and Expedia says we aren’t due a refund due to the poor policies of the campground.

No electricity

When we arrived for check in at 5:30pm we had no electricity. I called several numbers to report it but I did not get a call back. We were there from 5:30pm Friday to 8am Saturday. We probably had 3 hours of electricity--Darkness for 20 hours with no fridge or microwave to use. Mattresses were very uncomfortable. I would not go again nor would I recommend this cabin or campground. We were not the only cabin without electricity.

A family favorite of a 3 week cross country trip

Important info for your stay: sheets and bedding are available for $25 per bed, even though bedding is shown in the pictures. If we had known this, we would not have stayed here as we are on a cross country trip and not traveling with bedding. Thankfully, the camp host let us know on the way, so we were able to stop at Walmart and purchase bedding that could be reused for a spare bed at home that needed new sheets anyway. Also, the water onsite is non pottable, so thankfully we had a spare bottle of water in the car that we could use for brushing teeth/washing faces. There is no AC, which is fine for a cabin- when you expect this- but we went to sleep hot, though it cooled off during the night. We did wish there were a box fan to place in the window-all 4 windows did open on all 4 sides thankfully. If you plan to camp, this is an EXCELLENT alternative, and beats tent camping hands down. The hosts have adorable welcoming touches all around the cabin, and the fridge works great! Even froze my ice packs! Yay!! If we loved locally. We would utilize this site often. It is well maintained and the surroundings are beautiful. The water from the sinks does smell like sulfur, so we were glad we didn't need to shower, though the showers looked okay if you had flip flops (which we would have if we were doing planned camping). We stayed here due to the proximity to the Flight 93 Memorial, which as a side note was a wonderfully well-done and worth-while visit.

When we arrived we couldn’t get down the road.It was blocked by about 25 cars.The campground rented the picnic area out and the people had nowhere to park so they just decided to park in the road and then everyone else’s camp spots.It took 50 minutes to get everyone to move.They had other campers blocked in also. Kids were running around the campground, throwing water, balloons, trash in the Place playing in the bathrooms running through our camping area squirting everybody with water guns..

was just an overnight stop before visiting the Flight 93 Memorial just down the road. Even though it was intended as just a place to sleep, it turned out to be very comfortable, relaxing, and pleasant.

Very nice cabin campground

Very nice campground. We only stayed a single night as we were traveling from Ohio to NC. The economy cabin accommodated the 4 of us fine and the bathrooms were easily accessible and very clean. I would look to stay here again if I was up that way again. Also, a side note is that the campground is very close to the Flight 93 memorial in Shanksville. It is a must visit place to remember the events of 911 and pay tribute to the heroes and mourn for those lost. I glad we stopped for sure.
