"We had a great stay in the 2 bedroom unit. great set up and was super clean. Loved the proximity to the shopping area and restaurants. Only issue was the front door lock, noticed a lot of the other people were leaving the lock open. Would stay here again "

"The Blind Tiger was a gem. It was convenient and private enough to enjoy with staff available 24/7 with and questions. The room, lobby and all areas were immaculate and brilliantly arranged. I would definitely go again!"

"Fantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again."

"The location was great! Easy walking access to the many quaint and unique shops, restaurants and much more. The staff was always friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable and the on-site restaurant, Alto was excellent. "We traveled for our 25th wedding anniversary! We loved the history of the Blind Tiger!! Love the billiards room and the mix of modern and antiques! Our only suggestion would to be to add a fan for some air flow. :) "

"Beautiful, clean, modern property close to down town. Easy to walk to where you wanted to go. Parking is available; however, you pay for it like everywhere downtown. The valet service is awesome though. My only other thing I didn’t care for was the view of the roof we had from our room, but not much can be done about that. We got the short stick I guess. "It was amazing. Free cookies and bottled water in lobby. Breakfast was excellent. Was able to walk everywhere we wanted to and got a great lobster meal as well. Valet parking was so worth it as well"
