Villa Sunset Mare

Directly on the enchanting beach of Capo Playa in Cefalu , Sicily is our renovated villa with private pool (3x9 meters/infinity pool/Depth 1,80m). Nestled in a beautiful garden just a few steps from the beach, our villa offers every comfort. Capo Playa is just a few kilometres from Cefalus and you can expect good weather from March till October.
The villa is surrounded by a spacious garden with several garden loungers, a sunshade, a Sicilian outdoor kitchen and a spacious outdoor dining table for 10 people. The villa is two-storey and has a total of 4 bedrooms with 7 beds. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms with king-size beds (160 x 200 cm) and a single bedroom with a single bed (90 x 200 cm), a shower room and a toilet. There is also a spacious terrace with awning overlooking the sea and the Madonie Mountains. On the ground floor there is a spacious living and dining room with a cast-iron oven for cold evenings, another bedroom with a king-size bed (160 x 200 cm) with shower room and a Sicilian-style brick kitchen. All amenities such as dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine are available in the house. The house is furnished with modern furniture.
The beach of Capo Playa is partly sandy and stony and has turquoise clean water.
Location: The Villa Surelica is located in a small, closed private complex with 11 more holiday homes. These houses are mainly inhabited by locals during the summer months.
The complex has private parking spaces and is only accessible to authorized persons.
The villa offers an optimal starting point for excursions within Sicily. A motorway connection to Palermo and Messina is about 10 minutes away. The location is absolutely quiet as there is no busy road.
Capo Playa can be reached from Palermo (65 km) after about 3 km behind the village Lascari and about 6 km before Cefalù. A short bumper ride takes you directly to the beach. The villa offers a unique view of the bay and the beaches of Lascari and Termini Imerese. The complex is surrounded by olive trees, cacti and Mediterranean plants. Since the pool is not secured, it is not suitable for small children.

Lovely Villa with beautiful mature garden, outside areas and pool. Spectacular view over sea and sunsets every night. Easy walk down to quiet beach. Great communication with owner and met by staff who showed us round villa. Big thank you to the gardening team who were lovely and helped keep pool and outside areas clean. Definitely need a hire car (get the smallest you can manage and pay for full collision/ damage waver as streets are narrow). Cefalù has numerous restaurants which serve great food. Sicilian food is best anywhere in the world

House with a view

Beautiful spot to enjoy the views over the water. Sunsets are amazing and the pool area is to die for. Loved the outdoor kitchen and layout of the house. Comfortable stay will all needed amenities. Communication with owners was seamless and they provide a lot of information to assist your stay.

Toller Urlaub Anfang Mai

Das Wetter hat bei unserem achttägigen Urlaub Ende April - Anfang Mai leider nicht immer mitgespielt. Umso mehr haben wir uns darüber gefreut, ein so schön und hochwertig eingerichtetes Haus zu haben und einen grossen Aussenbereich, in dem sich unsere beiden Söhne beschäftigen konnten, auch wenn das Wetter für einen Tag am Strand zu wechselhaft war. Das Highlight für sie war natürlich der tolle Pool, den sie trotz der kühlen Wassertemperatur eifrig genutzt und sehr genossen haben (Anfangs mit Neoprenanzug, später auch ohne). Für Mama und Papa war das Wasser zu kalt. Auf dem Sonnendeck und in der überdachten Aussenlounge konnten aber auch wir uns wunderbar entspannen und die tolle Atmosphäre dieser Villa geniessen. Mit Frau Reinert haben wir uns auf Anhieb sehr gut verstanden. Sie hat uns herzlich empfangen und war bei allen Fragen sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Mit dem Auto ist Cefalu in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Vor allem aber gibt es dort am Strand einen sehr grossen Parkplatz, so dass die Parkplatzsuche hier nahezu komplett entfällt und man den Stadt-Strand oder die vielen guten Restaurants ganz ohne Stress erreicht. Für unseren Ausflug nach Palermo haben wir wie schon in früheren Jahren den Zug genommen. Trotz des wechselhaften Wetters haben wir eine sehr schöne Zeit in Frau Reinerts Villa verbracht und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wonderful villa

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful property. The photos do not do it justice- the outdoor space is wonderful with full outdoor kitchen which we loved and deck by the pool with stunning views. Easy access to the beach which was quiet. Arranged taxis into Cefalu for dinners out on a few nights. Useful supermarkets within easy reach and station nearby which was ideal for visiting Palermo.

Spectacular spot on Capo Plaia

We could not have enjoyed a property more than we did our hosts’ house. Views were spectacular overlooking the ocean with the mountains for a backdrop; amazing sunsets every night. The walk to the long beach was easy. The ocean was inviting. Rooms and mattresses were private and comfortable with their in and outside entrances, and the A/C was much appreciated at night in the bedrooms. Susanne and Ralf René went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. They were very communicative and even hooked us up with a friend who was kind enough to invite us to his garage of vintage racing cars. The house and landscaping were beautiful. The pool was the highlight of our days spent around the house which was far enough from Cefalù to be serene but close enough to enjoy shopping and restaurants. Indoor and outdoor cooking facilities and a great outdoor shower added to our convenience. Security could not have been better. Everyone who saw our pictures couldn’t believe what a great location we had. Could not recommend it and the hosts more.

Traumvilla in traumhafter Lage

Wir waren 10 Tage im Oktober vor Ort. Das Haus liegt wunderschön in einer ruhigen Bucht. In wenigen Schritten gelangt man über eine Treppe zum klaren Wasser, das im Oktober noch sehr warm war. Man genießt auf dem großen Grundstück von unterschiedlichen Plätzen um das Haus herum, die alle mit gemütlichen Sitzmöbeln oder Liegen eingerichtet sind, herrliche Blicke auf das Meer und die Berge. Auch die Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss verfügen über Außenbereiche mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Zum Essen sitzt man in der gemütlichen und großzügigen sizilianischen Außenküche. Die Außenküche und der Lounge-Bereich am Wohnzimmer sind überdacht und lassen sich am Abend gut beleuchten. Auch im Innern ist das Haus in allen Bereichen sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet den Komfort, den man sich für einen perfekten Urlaub wünscht. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Traum-Fewo in wunderschöner Lage

Wir waren im August in der wunderbaren Ferienwohnung zu Gast. Die Kommunikation vorab war sehr gut, alle Fragen wurden beantwortet und wir haben vor der Anreise einen Urlaubsguide mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps bekommen. Leider haben wir uns bei der Anreise auf Grund einer Reifenpanne verspätet, trotzdem hat uns die freundliche Nachbarin persönlich begrüßt. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen und ist sehr gut ausgestattet, Klimaanlage, Fliegengitter, hochwertige Küchengeräte und auch im Aussenbereich mit 2 Grills und einer Aussenküche bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist perfekt, nur eine kleine Treppe runter und man ist direkt am Strand, der trotz Hauptreisezeit nicht zu voll war. Es war wunderschön und wir werden sicher wieder lommen

Alles perfekt!

Sehr netter Vermieterkontakt, Empfang und Betreuung vor Ort. Alles wie auf den Fotos, nur noch schöner. Sehr schönes gepflegtes Haus in toller Lage. Nur wenige Schritte zu Strand und Meer, der im September fast menschenleer ist. Viele tolle Plätze am Haus zum verweilen für jede Tageszeit und alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Tolle Aussenküche und Aussenndusche. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Cefalù ist ein malerisches Städtchen mit schönen Bars, Plätzen und Restaurants und kann mit dem Auto schnell erreicht werden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.
