Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised that the property was a lot nicer than reflected in the site pictures. Site was closer than we thought to all attractions in Cavendish. It has everything that was required for our week’s stay. Property was clean with ample parking. I think my favourite memory was sitting on the front porch in the evening, just looking across the farmland at the ocean. I will recommend this property and if my travels cause me to return to the Island it would be my first choice.

A very nice play to stay in cavendish. Minutes from the beach as well as restaurants, amusement parks and various shops and game centres. The house itself is very comfortable with 4 good sized bedrooms. Small kitchen, One bathroom and early check out are the only inconveniences. Overall I give it a firm thumbs up.

Perfect stay in cavendish

Went for Sommo festival and it was minutes away. The cottage was very nice and a bunch of little attentions (condiments, coffee, beach chairs and pails, bbq, etc. ) would recommend ;)

Great location and tidy place

We stayed at the property for 5 nights and had a great time. Overall, it is very clean and all the listed amenities were provided. The outside of the house is also been well maintained. We enjoyed the fire pit and made smores almost every night. The property is close to many attractions in Cavendish, which is a plus. Steve was very responsive and helpful with all our requests. Regarding bedroom TV volume issue in other review, we figure there was a bad HDMI connection, unplug and plug it back fixed the issue. We do agree on upstair sink slow to drain.

Great Stay

It is an excellent property. Very comfortable. For the owner I would like to advise him of the following. The TV in the bedroom does not have any sound. Perhaps someone put it on mute. We could not figure out how to correct the problem. The upstairs sink is slow to drain. The basement light is on. The door to the freezer is loose.

Cavendish Stay-Amazing Time

My family and I, six of us total, (two grandparents, two parents and two teenagers) stayed this VRBO Cavendish home, July 13-July 19, 2024. Lots of space for the six of us to stretch out, it does have four bedrooms and one bathroom so had to have patience around that but it was manageable. The location is amazing, central to everywhere so very handy to plan a day out, then regroup at the house and head back out, or make dinner at the house and then enjoy marshmallows out back at the fire pit. Cavendish has SO much to offer for activities for families, definitely look up what to do. Everyone is incredibly friendly and so helpful on the Island. The beaches are in National Parks, so you will be charged for adults, families and seniors but children under 17 are free. Everything listed under amenities for the house was included and fully stocked. Steve, the host, was quick to reply to all of my questions via email. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and definitely would rent this VRBO home again, as we hope to make this an annual family vacation destination.

Weekend getaway

Our group had a great time staying at this property. It was very clean and everything came as noted in the listing. It was the perfect location - 3 minutes from Cavendish beach, central Cavendish, and about 40 minutes from Charlottetown. Highly recommend it!

Amazing location

Ideal setting for traveling all over the island. Very roomy for 4 adults and well kept with plenty of amenities included (dishes, spices, soaps of all kinds and firewood). Steve responded to our questions quickly

Location is excellent. House is well maintained and has everything you need. Apparently there were some communication issues with cleaners and owner before our arrival that affected our first day. Upon notification from us, the owner quickly adapted and took care of issues effectively. Barbecue didn't appear to be working properly with a low flame. There were a lot of ear wigs on this property and inside. Owners is taking steps to resolve. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for a family vacation.

Good location, bad bug issue

The house was in a good location. The house had a very bad earwig problem, everywhere! Since it was very hot and humid, the wall air conditioner units just made it cool but damp. We had to buy raid and a fan to try and help things.

Had an amazing time in Cavendish,and where we stayed had alot to do with it.Nice 4 bedroom house seconds away from all the action.Clean,modern and safe.Would recomend to any family.
