Rooms are clean, spacious and newly updated. The property is an easy downhill walk into town but a steep return. There is a lovely terrace with a stunning view. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit Burgundy. "

"Beyond a doubt, this was the best boutique hotel we have ever stayed in. Beautiful decor with high quality fixtures and amenities. The staff were all lovely and extremely helpful. It really should be considered a 5 star hotel in every way possible. The breakfast was delicious with loads of choices for every dietery need. We were so disappointed that we were not able to spend more time in Beaune and this beautiful hotel. It will be a must visit during our next trip to France!!!!"

However staff did help with luggage but are only there a few hours a day. As with an old place, some quirks like not much air to toilet and toilet right by small kitchen area. Overall it was a good choice for us. Be sure to go out walking after dark to see some cool projections on buildings "

"LOVE this hotel! We drove a car from Berlin to Barcelona so needed a hotel to spend the night- it was just off the motorway to super easy to get to and wasn’t a big divert for us. Both receptionists were so polite, friendly, spoke perfect English and happy. The room was VERY clean, the bed was so comfy. The hotel is new, modern, spacious, we loved it. We will be staying again for sure (and I can’t wait to stay again!) we always need secure parking for the cars and this did have it.
