Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We loved our stay at Hen Cove Cottage. The house is cute and homey and the neighborhood is attractive. The kitchen has a lot of random pots and pans but if you need anything in particular, I recommend bringing it, which we did.

We really liked that this house was dog friendly and it was so close to the water in a quiet neighborhood. The house has all you could need, lots of beds and spaces to sit and relax in including outdoor space. Fresh towels, sheets and the laundry machines and extra fridge so helpful For all who stayed and had a lovely time .FYI WiFi went in and out a lot while watching shows and we had a hard time with our phone call reception / I would also recommend foam pads for the twin beds to increase their comfort the master bed was very comfortable The fans throughout the house keep the breeze and cool temps from AC going ( we loved the central air as it’s so humid at the cape so this felt great after a Long Beach day) Also two full baths one with walk in shower for elderly and extra bathroom by kitchen awesome - no waiting in line for anything

We had a lovely time overall but I would not stay here again. I’d say the house itself is vey cute and nice, furniture is a little dated but cozy. The headboards in the bedrooms were horrendous, we put a towel behind it so it didn’t hit the wall every time we turned at night. The washer and dryer don’t really work. We had to use duck tape to keep the dryer shut or it wouldn’t dry and the washing machine required someone to come fix it after a small load. We also got check-in instructions when the man came to fix the washing machine which was 4 days into our stay. Communication was all through Vacasa which was tedious as we would get texts from multiple numbers and one would say we never reported something so we had to screenshot a pic to prove we had texted the other number. No beach chairs were provided which seemed odd for the price and proximity to the beach but I’m guessing there is a kickback to Vacasa if we rent them. I’d say overall the house is fine if you don’t stay longer than a weekend, don’t need to use laundry and don’t fly in and need beach equipment. Also the AC stopped working because no one changed batteries so we had to change them but it took a full day of communicating with Vacasa so we ultimately went 24hrs with no AC and a baby in the heat.

Perfect location in Pocasset

My daughter, three grandchildren (10, 8 & 6), and I spent the long Memorial weekend here because we were attending a family gathering in the area. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, and the location was so close to the ocean. We all loved it and hope to return again soon!

Roomy house & great location!

This house was clean and had all amenities to support our family trip! Easy access to cape just over bridge, beaches (<5 mi from Old Silver), restaurants, ice cream, etc.. Would def com back again!

Hen Cove cutie

This was a sweet cottage, ideally located for a family vacation with grandparents to teens and toddlers. The grandparents were comfortable playing cards and walking the short distance to the beach to watch boats and fly kites while the house was centrally located to old silver beach ( 12 minute drive), mini golf, ice cream and Falmouth center for the rest of the family. The house was thoughtfully prepared for our arrival - very clean and user friendly. Only complaint was that the coffee maker was broken - there's a Keurig, but we didn't have pods so we got creative. I would definitely recommend the house and stay there again.

Cottage was a little stale smelling upon entering, once we opened up some windows, doors and turned on fans the musty old lady smell went away. Plenty of space and a huge bonus room to our surprise in basement, Wish the kitchen had a full set of clean pots and pans.

Could have been great

House itself and location were great. Washing machine was broken upon arrival and the management company couldn’t have cared less. Had I been notified beforehand I would have packed accordingly, and I certainly wouldn’t have loaded the machine and added detergent - forcing me to haul the load up two flights of stairs and hand wash in the bathtub (none of which was on my vacation agenda). WiFi was spotty and I had absolutely no cell service. Still had a great vacation, but expected more in terms of functioning amenities and guest service for the cost. Wouldn’t recommend a vacasa property based on this experience, and won’t stay in one again myself.

Lovely home + neighborhood

The house itself was incredible! AC was strong, the space inside was clean and wonderful to spend time in. There's a beautiful view of water and plenty of driveway parking space. The neighborhood was incredibly friendly as well, and as mentioned is a short walk to a beach (not necessarily ideal for swimming since it can be rocky at points, but still great and very close to many other beaches as well). Couldn't have chosen a better place and it was a lovely introduction to Cape Cod. Recommend to all!
