Beautiful Hen Cove - Book Your 2026 Trip

  • *JUNE—AUG NOTE: During peak season, 7-14 day Saturday-Saturday rentals are available. Simply click the Saturday you want to arrive, and the following Saturday will show as the check-out date.

    This beach house offers panoramic views and a 5-minute walk to Hen Cove beach.
    The home can comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 2-3 children.
    The main floor features the Master Bedroom with a king-size bed and its own ductless wall-mount air conditioner. The adjoining Master Bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
    The main floor living area has a roomy kitchen with an island, dishwasher, and lots of meal prep counter space. The open floor plan transitions to the family room with 8 large windows overlooking the cove. The view is amazing whether enjoying coffee at sunrise, cocktails at sunset, or simply relaxing and watching TV. There is plenty of seating with a leather sectional, basket weave chairs, and extra counter space with stools. There is a wall-mounted Samsung LED TV that does not interfere with the view. The wall-mounted, ductless, remote-operated A/C unit gives you the option to enjoy summer breezes or cool air conditioning. A great combination of marine views and modern comfort.
    The lower level has a private bedroom with a queen-sized bed and portable air conditioner. There is an additional room on the lower level that is used as a bedroom area. This area has a bunk bed, fold-up single bed and fan for cooling. The lower level has its own bathroom with a shower and outside access.
    Outside the home is a patio with Weber gas grill, gas fire pit table, and Adirondack chairs.
    You can walk to the beach, kayak around the cove (two one person kayaks are available for guests to use), golf at several nearby courses, or enjoy day trips to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Area restaurants include the Chart Room and Lobster Trap. Graziella’s Pizza and the Corner Café are within walking distance for breakfast and lunch. The house has parking for three cars.
    Guests provide their sheets, and bath and beach towels.

Peaceful Getaway

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed fishing on the dock, crabbing, kayaking, walking around the neighborhood each morning and watching the amazing sunsets. The house has a beautiful view of the water from the couch-which was my favorite spot. Pocasset is so peaceful and relaxing. Greg & Nancy were easy to communicate with. We definitely recommend this place.

The cottage is outstanding! We had a fantastic time despite the beach being closed to swimming due to bacteria. Didn’t stop the kids from hunting for shells, kayaking or playing in the sand. They had great fun riding their bikes down the hill to the beach, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, having s’mores, and playing with the toys in the house! There is a lot to do in the surrounding area and a lot of good restaurants. And the ice cream - went out for ice cream after dinner too many times! I can absolutely recommend this place. It’s comfortable, it can fit a lot of people, it’s close to the beach, it has kayaks available, beach chairs, sand toys, and the kitchen is stocked with everything needed. Perfect vacation on the Cape.

Great house, location and vacation

Our group included a grandmother (me), my daughter and her husband, and their 2 children, a boy of 5 and a girl 22 months. The house was perfect, tastefully designed and everything that was needed. ( We did bring a pack n play for the little one to sleep in.) It was a short walk to the beach which was mostly empty during our week of hot, but sunny, weather. VERY warm water! We made use of the two kayaks that were there for our use. Couldn’t have been better! Thank you, Greg and Nancy! Your home is charming.

Hen Cove Heaven

Beautiful view of lovely cove with neighbors walking dogs, children Having a great time in the warm water and boats moored off the beach. Cottage was airy and bright with everything provided for kitchen and Bathrooms. Living area has gorgeous view and comfortable seating for everyone. Also enjoyed the seating area outside with grill and fire pit. Had a very special week returning to Hen Cove where we summered forty-five years ago. Pocasset is so peaceful and relaxing.

Great stay at Hen's Cove

We had a wonderful stay at Greg and Nancy's Cape Cod home in Pocasset. It was super clean, bright, quiet and cozy. Good kitchen for cooking and lingering over a meal of fresh seafood from Cataumet Fish. As an experienced and avid sea kayaker, I had a blast paddling around Buzzard's Bay exploring neighboring coves and beaches, sand bars and Bassetts Island. The area is well located for exploring Cape Cod, especially my favorite parts — Sandwich, Falmouth and Woods Hole. The surrounding neighborhood offers nice bay view walks with friendly neighbors doing the same thing and exchanging hellos. Amazing sunset views, as well as stargazing with no light pollution (hello, Cassiopeia!). A relaxing stay and much needed recharge!

Great location and beautiful views

The location is wonderful. Nancy and Greg were very responsive owners giving us a complete list of things to do and restaurants prior to our arrival. The property was mostly clean but there were many bugs, including centipedes, in the lower level. The water heater was not working properly while we were there. We notified Greg and Nancy and, to their credit, they contacted a plumber but unfortunately it could not be fixed during our stay. It was scheduled to be replaced after we left and I’m sure it is no longer an issue. Again, to their credit, they did compensate us for the situation. While we were supplied with sheets and towels due to the distance we traveled, the website indicates that they are not normally supplied. Overall, a very nice property and Nancy and Greg are excellent owners and hosts.

Great, cozy summer home. Beautiful bay views!

I stayed here with my family and had a wonderful time. Place was clean and kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Greg and Nancy communicated nicely before and during our stay. Some nice local restaurants. We took some day trips to Hyannis, Falmouth and Martha's Vineyard. Hen Cove is beautiful, but for a "beachier" experience we went to South Beach on Martha's Vineyard and Old Silver Beach which is a beautiful white sand beach less than 15 minutes away. Overall, the stay was great! Thanks Greg and Nancy.

Beautiful Hens Cove

We had a delightful stay. This home is so well appointed, particularly the kitchen amenities. The area and views are so tranquil and the location is perfect for reaching all kinds of points of interest. The owners are tremendously responsive to outreach to answer any and all questions. We look forward to a future stay!
