"Didn't stay here long, only for 1 night, but I could have easily stayed for a week. Really good location and easy to find. Could sleep two people nicely and love that you can cook in your own room, should you wish, not for me but it may suit other people but loved that you had that option. Aircon was really good too. "Borthwen b&b is a fantastic place to stay. Colin and Lisa were such kind and caring hosts and nothing was too much trouble. It was my partners birthday and they even put a birthday candle on his breakfast, he was thrilled to bits! The b&b was spotless, quiet and very comfortable, and the view from there is spectacular. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was probably the best I've ever had and they were able to provide me a vegetarian option which was much appreciated....

"Exemplary customer service and friendly staff - cannot fault them at all! Great dinner and breakfast too. Great location for anyone wishing to escape to a quiet fishing village and/or the local hills, whether for the views or watch the military jets flying low overhead (or below them!) Would very happily return and recommend! Highly recommend visitors also visit the birthplace inspiration behind Thomas The Tank Engine at nearby Tywyn Wharf Railway Station. "

"This property is the little gem of Barmouth what a fantastic stay me and my family had property exceeded our expectations everything is thought of the facilities are fantastic the staff go above and beyond so friendly and what can I say about the free complimentary breakfast everything was fresh so many options and certainly sets you up for a day out in Barmouth thank you to you all we will be back soon "

"We enjoyed our 3 night break in room 5. The views were spectacular from all 3 windows. Bed was comfortable and room a good size . I have marked it slightly down for 2 reasons. 1. The bathroom is tiny, quite difficult to manoeuvre, but functional enough. 2. Breakfast. The choice of cooked breakfast was limited to full breakfast or parts thereof. "The hotel was lovely; the rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. It was very quiet and relaxing. The common rooms were very nice and welcoming. The staff was professional, gracious and friendly. We spent a lovely cocktail hour in the lounge and enjoyed delicious custom cocktails. Dinner and breakfast were first rate! Local foods, creatively prepared. We went for an afternoon hike along the canal, which was easy to access from the property. Highly recommend this property."

"Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. "Nice hotel, and the most popular venue in Dolgellau. Ensure you arrange your evening meal before 8pm, as everything stops serving early (out of season), including the hotel. Was extremely disappointing to be left with just a kebab shop at 8:20pm, with absolutely no alternatives. Town has some nice eateries, but everything shuts early and it feels like a ghost town by 9pm. "

"Having a specific room requirement the hotel give me options and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. With the Hotel room only refurbished in October 24, they were well finished and furnished. We ate in the restaurant with the menu offering a good variety of food and we we very happy with the quality of the food. Finally a big thank you to Dela who was a supMagerb host. "
