BEACHFRONT Property with Room for Everyone

“Sea La Vie” is a beautifully updated property with room for everyone just STEPS away from the beach. Enjoy the gorgeous views and peaceful atmosphere. This home is located in a gated community packed with many amenities. This home boasts four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, including a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. Three bedrooms have a king size bed in each room. The fourth bedroom has a full bed along with a twin over full bunk bed that kids will love.

The house features a full coffee bar, BBQ, washer/dryer, and stocked kitchen. There are also plenty of toys, beach gear, books and games for all ages. Relax on the front or back patio, or take a walk down the beach and soak up the ocean air. Great spot for seasonal whale watching and keep an eye out for other sea life all year long!

Perfect location to enjoy many wonderful spots in the area. Head north on Highway 1 and grab a meal at The Whole Enchilada or other restaurants in Moss Landing. Keep heading north towards Santa Cruz and Capitola. Phil's Fish Market in Castroville is also nearby! Grab your golf clubs and head south on Highway 1 to Pebble Beach or any other of the world class golf courses in the area. The Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row is an easy 20 minute drive. A few minutes further south you will find Carmel-by-the-Sea, a lovely spot packed with excellent shopping, art and dining. This beautiful area of the California coast offers something for everyone and every age. Flying in from out of state? The Monterey Regional Airport is a 20 minute drive away and the San Jose International Airport is about an hour away. No matter what brings you here, we are confident that you will enjoy every moment of your stay!

*Please note that the maximum number of overnight guests is NINE and the maximum number for a gathering on the property is TEN people, per the Monterey Dunes Colony HOA Rules. Fines are issued for exceeding these numbers.

The home has a beach view that immediately let me know I picked the right place. Comfortable beds and perfectly sized entertaining areas. Space to dine together and share time. 62 step from the deck to the beach!!! Amazing access. Saw less than 20 people on the private beach over the 3 day weekend. Peaceful and serene. I would definitely return.

You can stop looking for where to stay, because you have found it.Warm, welcoming, clean and shiny. All the furniture is comfortable, lots of cozy pillows and blankets, and a proper duraflame-burning fireplace. All the windows are sparkling clean for your beautiful view of the ocean. Heater kept everyone warm for this winter visit. Beds and linens were super comfy. Ample supplies: detergent, soap, shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper, soft bathroom towels. Very well-supplied kitchen; I cooked 5 dinners for my family. Lots of fun things like beach chairs, large beach towels, games, and binoculars.The view to the ocean will make you so happy! If you are sitting by the huge picture windows, right in front of you are dunes that rise up a little, then beyond that you can see the peaceful sea. From those windows, we saw many flying birds and about 10 dolphins! If you walk out of the house 30 feet, you can see where the waves crest in to the sand. From that spot, we sat in their comfy beach chairs and saw lots of interesting birds, such as sanderlings, scoters, cormorants, godwits, & curlews.The jacuzzi is only 0.3 miles walk (or drive) and it was quite large, very clean, and really nice.Your host is lovely! Gina is super friendly and knows everything so she can help you if you need anything, and is super fast to respond. She is the type of host you are hoping for.I would absolutely stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone who loves the sea.

As you step into this beautiful beach house, you’re immediately greeted by breathtaking ocean views through the large picture windows. The home is spotless, inviting, and wonderfully spacious. The kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked with coffee, tea, spices, cookware, and every small appliance you could possibly need. Each bedroom is comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, with cozy beds and plenty of space to relax.Gina is an outstanding host—responsive, kind, and incredibly hospitable.This was a special getaway for four sisters and their daughters, ages ranging from 84 to 50, and every moment was truly memorable. We’re already looking forward to returning next year!

The view from the living room and dining room was 100% dunes and ocean. The space was perfect and we all love our annual stay in Gina's unit. Our family gathers to play, boogie board, soak in the hot tub, swim in the pool, play tennis, and play bocce ball. It is the highlight of our year. Gina has the washroom ready for laundry, games to play, DVD's to watch, beach chairs, unbrella, all one needs if they have not been packed to bring.

Such a beautiful and comfortable property. We had 3 couples and everyone was super happy with their room. Would also be great for several families as they have a super cute bunk room for kids. The views are to die for and we thoroughly enjoyed our long walks on the nearly deserted beach. The clubhouse had several great amenities. We took advantage of the jacuzzi in the evening. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!

Sea La Vie gets an A

My wife and I (from NJ) visited our son and 2 teenage grandchildren (from Alameda CA). The 5 of us stayed at Sea La Vie for three nights the last week in June. Its location is terrific, right on the beach with an easy drive south to Monterey and north to Santa Cruz. We took advantage of it all with a tour of the aquarium, a whale watch, and a day at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. We also used the community pool and pickle ball courts.Sea La Vie is a wonderful townhouse tucked away in the pines of the Monterey Dunes. The home is beautifully appointed, and well maintained & equipped. Gina, the host, is terrific. She corresponds quickly, and makes her guests feel welcome and comfortable. The whole group agreed this was a wonderful place to stay for our family vacation.
