"Spent the weekend here with friends for my birthday. Really lovely place, large and spacious...looks better than it did in the pictures. We loved the large kitchen and conservatory. It had all the amenities one would need. The property managers were very responsive via email and text. Our only let down was that the hot tub had broken down."

"Perfect central location to visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the seaside and Bath. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented. A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with good quality pots, pans and crockery and the host even provided washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, milk and even cake! A very nice...

"A delightful little house on the edge of an estate where the beautiful big house is used as a wedding venue. The property is fairly spartan but the kitchen is well equipped, although there were a few repairs needed. We were very comfortable and pleased to have discovered the Old Dairy!"

"Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them."

"Great location and hut as described. Cozy and great little enclosed garden which is safe for a dog, mine loved it. Stayed for four nights and loved it. Great hut, really well thought out. Looks out on open countryside with sheep and lambs in fields next door, only sounds were birds singing and sheep bleating. Only downside was postcode doesn’t take you to property, but asked someone and is only a few minutes away. Only one wine glass available, luckily only me staying and I always take a flute...

"Had a four day break with parents, the cottage was spotless on arrival and well equipped. The wifi was occasionally sporadic but to be expected in a rural area. We slept well with no passing traffic and even with four adults there was ample hot water.Lots of seating and although weather was poor the outside seating area was great . Small downside was the property can be rented alongside next door(semi detached) , there is a locked interconnecting door but the noise can carry through a little ."

It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our brief stay - including milk in the fridge for morning teas.
