"Another great stay . Spotless rooms and facilities (we stayed in the barn annexe). Staff excellent and breakfast first class. Lots of variety and uses local produce for their meals. We ate our evening meals there as well. Will definitely go back again . "

The rooms and facilities seem outdated and would really benefit from a proper upgrade. One of the main issues was the noise — we could clearly hear flushing and plumbing from the room above, which was quite disruptive, especially at night. Parking was also misleading. "Brilliant location for our Dalesway walk and staff were just brilliant as our time changed a couple of times during the days walking meaning we were later than expected but staff dealt with brilliantly and always with a smile"

Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north."
