Castell de Gangi

On the positive side, we had one of the 3 suites and the room was spacious and the view of the sea was nice. However the suites are directly attached to the restaurant, which was rented out for private events. Every night there was a private event with DJ. Basically it was like a nightclub. If extremely loud dance music until 1:30 in the morning is not your idea of a relaxing vacation, then don't stay here. Then at 7:30 am the piano player starts playing in the breakfast restaurant directly above my bed. So be prepared to get very little sleep in the suites. The breakfast was very chaotic because too many guests, not enough tables and not enough staff. It was difficult to find staff to make a hot cappuccino. I literally had the worst and cold cappuccino here. There is very little to basically almost no fruit at breakfast, which is surprising for Sicily. But the few staff that were there did try very hard. My suggestion is to get rid of the piano player and hire 2-3 more waiting staff. And get some decent fresh fruit. I believe this location gives the brand a bad name.

Really nice stay at the Grand Palladium Sicilia. I will say that some of areas of room could do with updating. Some of the wardrobes had stains on. The food was excellent! A la carte restaurants were all fantastic and there was such a vast amount of choice and variety in the buffet with a different themed cuisine each night. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and the animation team did a brilliant job throughout the day and night. Would highly recommend!

Struttura molto grande quindi molto affollata. Gli spazi per i pasti soddisfano le necessità dei clienti e i pasti sono di buona qualità per un villaggio così grande. Le piscine sono numerose e soddisfano sia i clienti più piccoli che i più grandi. Nto anche io, come altri clienti, che l'acqua della piscina olimpionica è un po' torbida (non ne conosco la causa) ma non ho notato presenza di capelli o altro. Sono disponibili campi sportivi di basket, calcio, volle, tennis e mini golf. Le attrezzature sportive sono a disposizione degli ospiti previa consegna della carta identità come garanzia. È presente anche una piccola palestra all'aperto con una decina di attrezzi e pesi. Una nota dolente il bagno della camera che ci è stata assegnata. A dispetto dell'ampiezza della camera da letto, il bagno è piccolo: la piccola doccia è piazzata di fronte al water e non consente di stare seduti comodamente. In più il bagno ha molte piastrelle e mattonelle scheggiate o rotte. Non abbiamo chiesto un cambio stanza dato il nostro soggiorno ridotto e preoccupati di essere trasferiti ad altro edificio distante centinaia di metri. Tutto sommato per chi cerca un all inclusive ad un prezzo accettabile, lo consiglio. Nella roulette dell'accettazione ai ristoranti a tema, siamo stati fortunati ed abbiamo cenato a quello siciliano.
