Castell de Chiba

Someone who rarely does hotel breakfast, I really loved the restaurant that we chose as part our package! Kitchen staff were terrific, reception staff wonderful and rooftop terrace a great place to hang out. I was surprised by what slash had to offer and would happily return.

I like the modern retro Japanese ‘70’s vibe of this hotel very much. It is in quiet neighbourhood, but close to restaurants and a subway station. The wifi is also from the 70’s, unfortunatly.

If you are looking for a place in Japan with view of the Tokyo Tower, this is the spot. I booked it for this reason and we did get a very good view of the tower and the city from the balcony. But the hotel was a bit dated (though the lobby area seems updated). The bathrooms seemed to be in the 90's though the room was clean in general. The hotel is near Tokyo Tower, but not anything else. You will need to walk at least 20-30 mins for shops, restaurants, etc. There were a few Japanese restaurants in B1 level and a small convenient store at the B2 level (if I remember correctly). I would likely stay somewhere else if we were to return to Tokyo. I paid almost $700 for two rooms next to each other (but not connecting) which I find a bit weird since I have children.
