"A beautiful property with quaint gardens within the grounds. Room was for four of us, we had a double bed and a bunk. It was a small room but perfect for us. Bright, airy, and clean with an ensuite shower. Breakfast was included and was a great selection of hot, fresh fruit, cereals with coffee and juices. Would definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommended."

"Lovely character full older property in its own grounds just outside Hastings. It suited our needs entirely as a quiet location out of town although the road to Rye passes outside but not unduly intrusive at all. Lovely period furniture in the public areas of the hotel with helpful and friendly staff especially at breakfast service. "The room was compact but very comfortable. It was spotless and very well appointed, with a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and even a standing fan. The location is perfect, close to everything you might need. The pub downstairs serves great food too. Even though it's above a pub, there was no noise at all, and I slept very well. Definitely a room for a solo traveller though! "

"We stayed at The Doghouse Inn for two nights with my partner and our dog, and we had a great experience. Check-in was simple and quick. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed, and we felt really welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our dog was treated like a guest too, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would definitely come back."

Arrived early and left my car in the car park, was offered to check in early however we was in a rush so didn’t take up the offer but it was appreciated. Very easy to check in and check out.
