Our house has been largely furnished in a classic Ligurian style, with some pieces from the early 1900s. The large outdoor area enjoys a splendid open view of the Val Petronio. You will find, at your disposal, sunbeds, deck chairs, chairs and table for outdoor lunches or dinners, sun awnings. In addition, a large barbecue area, some showers also with hot water and some fountains.
In the apartment, on request, games for children, high chair, cot with side bars. We will however be happy to try to fulfill any other requests from you when booking.
Satellite TV with foreign channels, small stereo and radio available in the apartment.

You will find, at your disposal, sun loungers, deckchairs, chairs and table for outdoor dining or dinners, parasol tents. Also large barbecue area, some showers also with hot water and some fountains.
In the apartment, on request, children's games, high chair, sideboard cot. However, we will be pleased to be able to satisfy any other requests you make when booking.
Guests have access to the entire outdoor area.
We would like to point out that, in certain periods, the part below your apartment may also be inhabited. However, independent access to the structures is guaranteed. The outdoor area, being structured in terraces, still offers the possibility of tranquility and privacy.
The apartment is not equipped with a washing machine but we have a common area where you can use it on request.
Guests have access to the entire outdoor area.
Please note that, at certain times, the apartment below yours may also be inhabited. However, independent access to facilities is guaranteed. The outside area, being structured on terraces, still offers quietness and privacy.

We strongly recommend having a car to move around the surrounding areas but there is also a bus service to Sestri Levante with a stop 50 meters from home. At the same distance you will find the main services: the tourist office, the post office, the bank, the pharmacy, two grocery stores, a tobacconist's shop, a well-known butcher shop, a clothing store and a trattoria bar. The nearest supermarket is about 3 km away.
Varese Ligure, the first BIO municipality in Europe, is about 15 km away. You will also find a riding stable a few hundred meters below our house.
The Gulf of Tigullio and "its" hills behind it, are a magical environment where there are countless possibilities for activities of all kinds.

Known already in Roman times, the municipal territory of Castiglione Chiavarese probably marked the border between Ligurian and Etruscan culture. Traces of the Romans are evident on the territory with the remains of bridges, objects and lime quarries; from literary sources it is clear that the village of Velva, in the municipality of Castiglione Chiavarese.
In the municipal area there is the possibility to visit ancient bridges and roads from the Roman era and also you can admire a Roman refueling station and tavern, a rare thing because there are few finds of such works along the Roman roads, in this case along the Via Aurelia.
The town's historic center is very impressive. In the evening, also lit up on the floor, it becomes a jewel. Altough there is a bus service to Sestri Levante with a stop 50 meters from the house we strongly recommend to move around in the surrounding areas by car. At the same distance you will find the main services: the tourist office, the post office, the bank, the chemist's shop, two grocery stores, a tobacconist, a well-known butchery, a clothing store and a trattoria bar. The nearest supermarket is about 3 km far.

In this area there are many ancient bridges and roads of Roman times and you can also admire a hostel for horses and an ancient restaurant dating back to the Roman era, a rare thing because there are few finds of such works along the Roman streets, in this case along the Via Aurelia.
We highly recommend having your own car. There are ample parking possibilities 50 meters from the house. In the whole area, parking is well tolerated.
The bus to Sestri Levante is quite frequent but cannot guarantee the same comfort as your car.
We are however available to give you transfer service from Sestri Levante or from Genoa to Castiglione on specific request.
Eventually we can also organize routes in the surrounding areas and transfers to the main beaches in the area, to the ferries for Portofino and the 5 Terre, or to the train station.
We strongly recommend to move around by your own car. There are many parking possibilities at 50 meters from the house. Throughout the area the stop is well tolerated.
The bus to Sestri Levante is quite frequent but can not guarantee the same comfort as your car.
We are still available to give you transfer service from Sestri Levante or from Genoa to Castiglione upon request.
