🏡 The House

The house is fully equipped and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The fully equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, combination oven, refrigerator with freezer, and ample storage space—ideal for cooking elaborate meals and enjoying them together.

The bright and spacious living room on the upper floor is the heart of the home, featuring a large dining table, comfortable sofas, and a cozy sitting area with a wood-burning stove. Thanks to Wi-Fi and fiber-optic internet, you’ll always stay connected, and with the smart TV, you can enjoy your favorite entertainment.

This floor also features a spacious bathroom with a double sink and shower, as well as a separate toilet.

🛏️ Bedrooms

The three bedrooms are located on the first floor, which stays pleasantly cool in the summer. Air conditioning is also available for added comfort.

Two bedrooms have direct access to the garden.

🌿 Outdoor Living & Relaxation

The outdoor area is exceptionally spacious (4,400 m²) and offers plenty of privacy and tranquility. Enjoy the covered porch with a view of the castle, dine together at the large outdoor table, or relax on one of the lounge chairs.

The hot tub is one of the highlights—perfect for relaxing, both during the day and under the stars.

For children, there’s a trampoline, slide, toys, board games, and a large garden to play in.

At the end of the garden, you can walk right into the Dordogne—ideal for swimming, relaxing by the water, or fishing.

During the season, you’ll also find canoe rentals and a cozy snack bar by the river—perfect for a drink or a simple meal.

Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire property, excluding the shed and one built-in closet in the house.

Other things to keep in mind
A railroad track runs along the valley near the house, with a quiet, local train service (up to about 8 times a day). The train runs only during the day, at low speed, and with short trains.

The tracks are elevated relative to the house and are screened by vegetation and a fence, so there is no direct contact and the situation is perceived as safe, even for families with children.

In practice, most guests do not find this disruptive. The tranquility, the view, and the natural surroundings clearly take precedence.
