"Room and property were very clean. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Room was extremely small. No vanity in bathroom to put my makeup. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Had to open the window when showering, or the whole room fogged up. The sink and tub drained very slowly. No deadbolt on the door. If you are looking for a place to spend one night to sleep, it is great. Not so great if you're spending several days."

I’d stay here again and ask to be on the other end of the hotel to avoid all the smoke. Beds were perfect and a lil firm just like I like. Room was a generous size. There’s no elevator but that’s okay for us."

After the first night, housekeeping took all of my husband's medication, his charger, his shoes, and his personal hygiene items—claiming they threw them in the trash. I don't understand why they would do that; since I had a five-night reservation, their only job was to clean, not to take personal belongings."

"Harbor Lights Lodge has a back parking lot that is kitty corner from the start of the Ahnapee State Trail. This was very convenient as we were bicycling that trail. Room was clean (laminate wood floor) and quiet. Walking distance from restaurants and the harbor."
