I’m very disappointed with Expedia for promoting this hotel ,and others in Casablanca, as 5-star properties when, in reality, they feel more like motels or, at best, 3-star accommodations. This misrepresentation is misleading and reflects poorly on the platform’s credibility.
As for Suite Hotel Casa Diamond, my experience was far from luxurious:
Shower: Low water pressure, and the overhead shower is confusing to operate — the control is placed in the middle, not in the standard position.
Room Comfort & Amenities: No iron or ironing board. Only two coffee cups provided. Hard pillows. Carpet and furniture feel dated. TV is oddly built into the mirror, with limited channels working and poor sound.
Technology & Access: No USB charging ports. Only one key card provided , meaning the electricity shuts off when you leave the room.
Noise: Despite the windows being closed, the room was still noisy. Poor sound insulation.
Breakfast: Very basic and underwhelming. Coffee was bad, and overall selection was minimal.
Lobby & Service: Small and overcrowded lobby, with only one person handling guest check-ins and inquiries.
The location is okay, but the hotel does not meet the standard it advertises. This is not a true 5-star hotel and should be downgraded accordingly.
Expedia and similar platforms should be more honest in how they rate and promote hotels in Casablanca ,travelers deserve transparency and accuracy.
