"The house is lovely and seeming well maintained. There is self check in and no staff on site except for breakfast so if there are issues you have to call a phone number for assistance. The room was freezing and had no temperature control. Extreme overuse of scented laundry products made me physically ill and we almost left after one night. Only the coat of the room and a creative workaround prevented that. Breakfast the first day was acceptable but I don’t believe the pancakes were made from...

"Our only concern, as seniors, was the steep stairs. We were in a downstairs room one night, with stairs down to the first floor. Then we moved to a second floor room, with even steeper stairs. Perhaps a dumb waiter to help with luggage? But the property is lovely, beautifully appointed rooms, excellent service, wonderful staff. Highly recommend!"

"Exactly as described with a few pleasant surprises like wine and cheese cocktail hour and a delicious breakfast of sweet waffles with praline syrup, and savory sausage and potatoes out in the courtyard. Loved the Oglethorpe room plus Charles was very knowledgeable about the homes history - way better than google! Street parking (payment required 8am-5pm) was a bit tricky but staff was very helpful in guiding us! Savannah is definitely walkable from this home. Highly recommend!"

"Would appreciate a sign on site, and on reservation site about parking across street at city parking garage. Without a driveway or pull off in front of hotel on one way street for check in/out, it was awkward and dangerous."

"Perfect Location - walking distance to everything"

"Everything is wonderful and they should be commended for breathing new life into Savannah. However, the placement of the toilet roll is absolutely baffling - right against your knee, so you can ride side saddle when you make brown. And the light switches might as well be installed at random around the room. But I will return nonetheless because it’s a great place. "

"Room was clean and bed comfortable. Room overall was good. Shower fistures were in ok shape. Would have been nice if the $34/day resort fee and $50/day parking/valet fees were disclosed more clearly. Staff was ok. They seemed happy to see you come and go. Stuff between, not so happy. Valet was ok-ish. Car often took >20mins to have ready so request it early. Access to river walk good but, the one elevator in the building was slow. Very interesting building with lots of history. "We choose this location as it is close enough to walk to many places but also nice a quiet in the evenings. From entering the home we were greeted by our wonderful hostess Abigail, we found her to be friendly, polite and very accommodating with answering questions and providing information about the area. We would love to return and highly recommend for the price, location and service. Thank you"

"The cost of the hotel was very reasonable for the size of the unit. The kitchen had everything that we needed, and the bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels. The beds were pretty comfortable. The only thing I would nitpick about the hotel are the pillows, they were too soft for us. Even after stacking them, our heads would pretty much be on the mattress after a few hours. Overall the hotel was great, I would just suggest bringing along a pillow you like (if possible)."
