Hello to all! Welcome to my brand new listing! This is a two bedroom two bathroom vacation rental, which also includes a queen size memory foam, pull out sleeper in the living room. Situated in the very heart of the gorge between Hood River and Portland. This open floor concept modern home has everything you need for a relaxing and unforgettable stay.

** The Property**

Bed #3 Fold out queen size memory foam sleeper inside living room couch

Just before entering the town of Carson wind your way through a charming Wooded community to the very top of the hill and the last house on the road. The view of the Cascade Range will immerse you before you even leave your car. Inside offers over 2300 ft.² of living space, vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and a black rock gas fireplace! All beds, including the sleeper couch, have total river views, and are equipped with cable TV, and or Netflix. There is a stock of family games available, which can be played at the living room game table or the dining room six seat table. The downstairs game room is truly the showcase of the house! It boasts a valley pool table, 75 inch flatscreen TV, a full raised booth, and a killer home bar with four swivel stools. Shoot a game of pool while looking down on the mighty Columbia! The deck is a great place to end your day of adventuring while throwing dinner on the barbecue and lighting the outdoor gas fireplace. You can see the Dog and Wind Mountain to the east, to Government Island to the west. Over 7 miles of Riverview!

Absolutely Perfect!

Great location, amazing views throughout the house! Back deck with fire table was a great place to unwind! House has everything you need for a great Columbia Gorge vacation! Close proximity to restaurants, hiking trails, and waterfalls! Communication with Travis was easy and he was very accommodating! Would definitely stay again!

Spectacular sunrise

Rented this property to help with overflow of family who were here for a graduation. They were stunned and impressed by the views and many of the thoughtful touches at the home. Our only regret was we did not have time to enjoy the gameroom downstairs. Thanks for providing such a pleasant experience for our family.

Amazing Place

This rental is gorgeous with a view that is amazing! The place was exceptionally clean and we found everything we needed for our 6 night stay! It is new and very modern, with beautiful bathrooms, comfortable bedrooms and an amazing open kitchen, dinning and living room space! The windows allow for that gorge view that just takes your breath away. Appreciate having the washer and dryer, soaps, toilet paper and plenty of towels. Those little things make a big difference. We hope to be able to stay here again! Thank you

Only 1 surprise...and it was great

Everything lined up with the listing: great view, beautiful home, fun game room. Got surprised (coming from a city) at how dark the night sky was. Really enjoyed the stars. The Gorge is a beautiful place. Whether you are visting for the first time or are practically a local, this house is close to everything you will want to do. Have rented places along both the WA and OR sides of the river in the past, and this is my new favorite property.

Epic Columbia River Views

I have rented many VRBO's and this hands down was one of the best! The home and views were amazing. It had everything you could need there and the host was wonderful to work with! Travis was very accommodating and immediately responsive to any questions. I would highly recommend staying here, it is in a great location and the views can't be beat. The interior is wonderfully decorated and all the linens/towels top notch. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

Nephew's Wedding in Oregon

I rented this home for my parents, brother and sister to stay at before the wedding. We all came a far distance and needed a quiet, comfortable place to lay our heads. This home was amazing! It was clean and well stocked. The communication cards explaining remotes and other features was a bonus for weary travelers. The decor was perfect and I loved the plants all around. Like my sister said, the only bad part about the home was we didn't stay longer. I highly recommend this wonderful place! The owner was quick to respond to questions as well.

Great stay in Carson!

Beautiful place. Beautiful town. Lovely place to stay surrounded by gorgeous scenery. It was our first time to the Columbia River gorge. We loved it. The place was well stocked and clean. Sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning was so peaceful.

Beautiful view

Great place, clean, organized. Only complaint is Google Maps takes you to a street which must have went through to property at one point but is now blocked off. You’re in a very dark, narrow road with no place to go. Manager should tell you to take other entrance which we eventually figured out.

Amazing Place

We absolutely loved this house! The views down to the river were amazing! The neighborhood was very quiet. The location was perfect for going anywhere on the gorge. The guys enjoyed their nightly pool matches while the girls sat and laughed at their groans or their cheers of victory. The house was extremely clean and had everything that we needed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Absolutely loved this place! The home was incredibly clean and comfortable. Beds, sheets, towels all were incredible. Game room and gym were awesome. Beautiful High End Spacious Home

Travis has everything you need to make your stay special. The home is beautiful, with high end finishes. We stayed here for two nights during our National Park trip. We would definitely stay here again if we are in this area. Five stars!!

Cozy retreat with a stunning view

The home is situated on a hill that provides a breathtaking view of a wide expanse of the Columbia River Gorge. The living room and master bedroom have remarkably spacious windows that provide an airy feeling that is enjoyable in both sunny and stormy weather. The adjacent deck has a heat lamp, fire pit and gas grill. It is a relaxing area in which to read a book in a chair, sip a drink and enjoy sharing the moment with another. The kitchen is well-stocked with plates, utensils and glasses, along with a variety of pots, pans and appliances. The living room couches are comfortable and the decorative fireplace lends a warmth and coziness to the interior. The TV is quite large and easy to operate as we watched numerous March Madness games. The game room downstairs was decorated in a fun, retro fashion that is reminiscent of the 70s and 80s, with an eclectic collection of memorabilia that are reflective of sports, military and fantasy influences. There is a pool table, refrigerator and another TV down there as well. The bedroom has a comfortable futon-style bed, dark shades on the windows for sleep and privacy, and an ensuite bathroom with a sizable shower and double sinks. The decor of the bedroom, along with much of the home, is tastefully presented in black, white and grey, which gives it a striking chiaroscuro atmosphere, particularly in the evenings. Throughout the process of renting the home, our host Travis was thoughtful, courteous and communicative.

Beautiful home, beautiful view

Very comfortable home with incredible views from floor to ceiling windows in all rooms of the main floor. The home evoked serenity. I enjoyed sitting in every room just gazing at the mountains and rivers, watching the sky change colors at sunset and sunrise.

Weekend Retreat

We wanted a weekend getaway that was scenic and comfortable. The house has a beautiful view of the Columbia River Gorge and it is very cozy. We were there in November so the weather was cool but the fireplace inside, and the gas heat pole and fire pit created the warmth that allowed us to enjoy the outside as well as the inside. The pool table and exercise area were a nice touch. The owner was very accommodating and came up and switched out tanks for us.

Outstanding accommodation

Nicely positioned at the top of a hill with views to die for. A high spec house. Spacious rooms. Great heated patio. Floor to ceiling windows to all rooms. When it rained, we still had the cosy fireplace and the patio. And of course the pool table. We ate at the brewery in town and walked to a couple of the more secluded waterfalls and peaks nearby. A lovely few days. Highly recommended.

Beautiful views and fantastic home

We spent a weekend in early November. The views are panoramic as shown in the listing. We had rain, sun, fog so plenty of different characters of the gorge, which is of course the star of the location. However, the house is very well appointed to entertain whether landscapes are your thing or not. The game room was great for a four hand card game and pool. Although we didn't work out, the gym is huge and we'll supplied. The deck and grill made delicious meals and the kitchen has everything but the food. We also enjoyed the fireplace when cold and rainy outside. Note that stairs connect main spaces to game room and gym. Both bedrooms have excellent views and baths were excellent. Having laundry facilities is also a plus. There's (uncovered) parking for two vehicles. Would stay again any time!
