"I booked this listing as a weekend lake getaway while we were in town for a family vacation. Usually we get multiple rooms in a hotel and this was a much better option to keep the fun going longer. The property was perfect! We enjoyed the covered patio and ate breakfast outside each morning and again in the late evening for card games. The lake view was so pretty. Our group was multi-generational. I would leave a perfect score for our stay if it had not mentioned in the listing that it was good...

"The property felt like it was straight out of a movie set. It was so incredibly comfortable and charming, the setting was just perfect for us. The amenities were spot on. But the thing that shined the most was the hospitality that Brenda provided. She went above and beyond to give us countless recommendations of what to do, and where to eat and just truly made us feel welcomed and at home. "Beautiful property, lots of open space for the kids to play. Well kept paths make a lovely walk to the pond. Fishing with the grandkids was so much fun! Overall great place for a family to spend time!"

There was a golf cart to use, we took a little drive on it to a private beach close by."
