Welcome to St. James Bay Golf Resort located on the beautiful `forgotten coast` in Franklin county. Recently restyled spacious penthouse corner condo unit boasts 3 large bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms. Affectionately named the `Caddyshack Condo` guests will step into a classic comedic movie-themed unit with all things inspired by the sport itself. The Residences offers a private gated entrance, community pool & spacious parking if also towing a boat for the launch a mile down the road.

Doors are open to this fun and charming spacious 1685 sqft condo located in the residences of St. James Bay Golf Resort. The Caddyshack, #331 will add delight to your golf vacation in a twist of eclectic country club fun featuring your favorite Hollywood stars, Chevy, Bill, and Rodney! And just remember `Some people just don`t belong!`

**Please note- The Condo sleeps 8 - 4 adults & 4 kids - not 8 Adults**

St. James Bay Golf Resort is a professionally designed Audubon course in Franklin county on the `Forgotten Coast` just outside of Carrabelle Florida. Not a golfer? Bring the boat, a Carabelle boat drop one mile down the road (Lanark Village), (condo parking lot hosts areas to store the boat). Also, many more amenities await our guests such as the private condo pool, and the golf clubhouse which has an amazing restaurant and recently added an outdoor pavilion that features live music weekly. Lots to do at this resort, check out their social media pages for more monthly tournament info, 5k`s, charity events, holiday parties, and so much more!

We live semi locally but are available via text or phone during your stay.

St James Bay Golf Resort is an absolute golfers paradise. This 18-hole Robert Walker-designed course was constructed with strategy and grit while golfers navigate the beautiful Florida wetlands golf cart paths. Also is the only designated Audubon Signature Sanctuary in the area that put you one with nature. Past the amazing golfing experience the Caddyshack Condo offers a pool designated solely for the condos on site. With the purchase of a guest membership from the pro office, it provides access to the club side pool, kids pool, gym, tennis, and pickleball courts. The onsite Crooked River Grill and Bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and will not disappoint! It is the most sought-after meal in the Carrabelle area offering high-class meals at an affordable cost. The resort is 4 miles to Carabelle, 20 miles to Eastpoint, 25 miles to Appalachicola, and 26 miles to St. George Island.

Walking to the St. James Bay clubhouse is about a half-mile walk, otherwise to tour the forgotten coast towns a vehicle will be necessary.

First time at The St. James Bay Resort

We chose this location as a base to explore the beautiful Forgotten Coast of Florida. Unfortunately, the owner did not disclose that the exterior of the entire building was under major construction. We would have opted out if we had been informed of this. Our 1 month stay involved construction noise , Sky cap equipment with workers outside the windows , construction workers climbing over the railings onto the balcony at various times throughout the day, & the dirt & debris that accompanies major renovations. We were unable to use the balcony for 16 days due to the floor being primed & painted. The outdoor furniture was brought into the condo's main living area stacked up in various places for 16 days. We were out when this took place & were never informed that someone would have access to get inside the condo. We still don't know who did this & how they got in. Upon departure ,the front halls & stairways were being primed . It was not possible to use a luggage cart in the area that was cordoned off , so all the luggage had to be carried to the elevator individually. It was a nightmare. On the surface , the condo appeared clean, but when drawers in the kitchen & bathrooms were opened ,they were stained & dirty. Glassware was broken , outdated food in the cupboards, mold behind the kitchen faucets, & dirty dishes & cookware were present. This place needs a total overhaul. We have dated photos & videos of everything that was mentioned in this review. We did contact the owner.

Lovely Condo

My family and I stayed in this condo for a few nights so that we could take our boat out. The condo was very nice, and the owners were great with communication. Hopefully we can stay again in the future!

Perfect Location

The property was amazing….nicely furnished and every amenity you could want or need. Great location….lots to do and see in either direction! The host were quick to respond and very pleasant to work with! Highly recommend!

Rented this unit for my sons graduation. We had 6 people in the unit, and accomodations were perfect.. Very clean and modern with great kitchen and bathrooms.

We had an enjoyable stay. The condo was as described in VRBO. The owners were great at communicating with us. There was some minor maintenance items but were easy to resolve. The cleaning could have been more thorough. The golf course is challenging for a good golfer but could be difficult for beginners. The course staff were great. The community is a bit far away from most restaurants and shopping areas. Overall a great stay for those with a focus on golf or fishing.

This condo is a great place to stay when visiting "Florida's Forgotten Coast". Comfortable, clean, very quiet. Sits on a golf course with a great view. New beds were comfortable. All in all nice place to escape to for relaxing.
