This beachside condominium is just three steps away from "The World's Safest Beach" in Carpinteria. Exclusively brought to you by Paradise Retreats, it is the perfect spot for water sports, beach enthusiasts, and those who love the views but prefer not to get sandy. You’ll be just one block from Linden Ave to enjoy burgers from The Spot, locally brewed beer at Island Brewing Company, and an upscale seafood dinner from Little Dom’s.

The first-level apartment offers big picture windows as the ideal spot to watch sunsets over the ocean and dolphins cruising through the Santa Barbara Channel. An open kitchen, and dining room with trendy decor complete the beachy vibes. The condo complex also offers a beachside patio with two gas grills to cook outdoors.

PLEASE NOTE: During the winter months (November-March), the City may erect a sand wall to protect all of the beachfront properties from winter swells and storms. While it protects homes, it does have the potential to block the view of the ocean from lower levels of the home.

Very comfortable and well stocked/equipped home leaving us very sad to leave! As a VRBO owner myself, I appreciate staying in a home that doesn’t feel like a hotel! The management company was responsive and easy to deal with.

Great place!

Place was great, deadbolt is a bit sticky and there was big group upstairs, so kind of noisy but the condo itself and the complex, location are fantastic!

Not such a Paradise Retreat.

Of the 6 days we booked. 2 were peaceful. After check-in on our first morning at 7:45 we awoke to concrete cutting and concrete chiseling right outside our door. Called management and were told it would done that they were not aware of it. Next morning at 8:AM more concrete cutting and chiseling in the garage area about 25 feet from our door. 3rd morning it was the landscapers dragging trash cans and an electric blower. On day 5 we left. I will not recommend this spot. I’m sure this review will not make it to social media or any review sites. Extremely disappointed.

Right on the beach!

We loved our stay! The beach is literally your front yard! We loved eating at The Spot burger, walking Carp Ave & shopping, eating Rory’s ice cream (honey lavender flavor), and seeing the seals off the bluff about 10 min away. Definitely be back!

On the Beach

This property is about 5 steps from the sand. Then, a very short walk to the beach (2 or 3 minutes, depending on how well you walk thru loose sand). It is almost like having your own private beach. The kitchen is very well appointed. The only "issue" we have was that you do hear every footfall from anyone staying above you. When we were there the people above did quiet down and likely put the kids to bed by 10:00, the posted quiet time. Your parking is covered. Plan to be chilly as the fog is often in all day, or at least the entire morning. Luckily I had a heavy sweatshirt. Enjoy

California Dreamin’ was perfect!

We loved staying at this condo directly on the beach. We celebrated our 28th anniversary near where we got married on Carpinteria Beach! The unit was great for a family of 4!! We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Beach walks

This cozy little beach condo is perfectly located right on the beach and a half mile walk into town. With bike trails and hiking trails nearby. We loved our stay even with the cool foggy days. We headed up to Ojai for a day to get some sunshine which is a great day trip! I would stay here again!

Super Enjoyable Vacation

Our famiy really enjoyed staying at this condo. The layout is exceptional, with a really nice kitchen, dining room, and family room that all have a beautiful ocean view of the beach. Just loved it! Kitchen and bathrooms are updated and very nice, with everything that we needed for our stay. Loved the in unit washer and dryer! Enjoyed BBQ'ing on the patio and dining at the picnic tables. And the outside hose was a dream, making it easy to rinse off all the sand from the beach. Also enjoyed the two covered parking spaces, what a treat! Highly recommend this unit.

Great property.

As described and on a beautiful beach. However lovely Adirondack chairs shown not there. Small detail, but nevertheless disappointing. Also noted by previous guests, there is a unit above and footsteps above can be a bit of a downer if you are not expecting a little noise. Would rent this property again.

Incredible location

This was exactly what we needed! An ocean view from all the windows. Ten steps to the sand. Sound of the ocean waves going to sleep. It really does not get better than this. The unit is updated and has everything you need. The town is the perfect beach town. You can walk to everything. We will be back!
