  • Welcome to the "Playa Bida"! We are thrilled to have you stay in our "ohh so fresh" condo on Carolina Beach! We offer EVERYTHING you are looking for while on vacation. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is located on top floor with amazing ocean views. Our unit has beautiful coastal furnishings, very well equipped kitchen offering granite counters, stainless appliances, washer/dryer, we have everything you need to cook up some delish meals. Both bedrooms have flat screen smart TV’s with Netflix and Hulu, balcony access (master to the main deck with ocean views and second bedroom balcony overlooking the pool) private full bath in master and another full bath connected to the second bedroom (also entry from living room area), king beds that are super cozy, the living room offers a queen sleeper sofa with a gel top mattress. *Brand new sliding glass doors just installed in 2019! * The beach access is just steps outside the door, walking distance to the Pier and Freeman Park, only 1 mile to the Carolina Beach boardwalk! Pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Our building does not have an elevator and we are top floor so please keep that in mind when booking. We have a rolling beach cart and a few beach chairs in our storage closet that is available for our guests to use during their stay. We are providing additional sanitizing measures during checkout turnovers, we have always provided fresh bed linens and towels for our guests at no charge however we understand during this time if you’d like to bring your own. In that case please just message us and we will have beds stripped and ready.

Luxury Family Vacation

Spent a family vacation at this beautiful, clean and convenient location. Had everything we needed and just a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again on future trips!

Enjoyed our 8 day stay! Owner quickly responded to concern (slow draining of sink in master bathroom). Condo has comfortable beds, is spacious and clean. Ocean view is lovely!

Smooth sailing

It was quite a few stairs but, once you get to the top it was a wonderful view. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable after a long day at the beach!

What a wonderful weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 25th birthday and tour CFCC for my senior in high school. It was a perfect spot to watch sunsets, walk over to the beach, shop downtown Wilmington and we took the ferry over to Southport. Everything was perfect!!!

Extended Our Stay

Great location and accommodation. This home offers a great stay for short term or longer vacations. The area has everything you need. We extended our stay by a day, with easy communication with the owners. Very peaceful and relaxing. Definitely will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at your condo. Enjoyed watching dolphins and pelicans from the deck. We cooked several meals at the property and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were so comfortable.

Fit our family perfect

Very spacious place for our family, three adults and one child. Loved the fact the beach was in view on the deck, made for the perfect morning coffee. Communication with owners was great. Place was very beautifully decorated and clean. Will definitely rent again, if and when we are in the area. .

Great Place to Catch Up

Beautiful Cozy Family Condo

We had a great week staying at this condo. The beds were super comfy, everything you could need in the kitchen and a wonderful view of the ocean. The only thing is if you can not do stairs, this unit is on the 3rd floor, there are 41 steps with all our luggage and groceries, that was a tough one.

Summer Vacation

My husband and I enjoyed this condo so close to the beach. The furnishings are comfortable and welcoming. The beach view is lovely. The owners were very responsive to any needs we had. The pool was very nice also. The only slight negative was that the cookware was in rough shape. I would recommend this condo if you’re looking for a ver nice space close to the beach.

Great place to stay!

Pictures of the property are exact. Location is great- one row back from beachfront but beautiful view from 3rd floor balcony, quiet neighborhood and not too far to walk to the boardwalk. Private pool, large beds. Stocked with enough trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent to last the week. Only things that could be improved- water pressure in the sinks and better cleaning procedures(don’t feel like things were wiped down as thoroughly as they could have been). Actually, second time staying in this exact apartment and my children and I love it!

Nice place

We had a great time, nice view of the ocean, comfortable beds, nice outdoor space to hang out. Host very accommodating & nice. Parking very close. As mentioned it does have a lot of steps but it’s on the 3rd floor which we like. It’s nice not having someone on top of you. Bathrooms could have been cleaned a little better but I know the owners can’t help if the cleaning crew don’t get everything. Definitely recommend.

October Fun at Playa Bida

This was my first experience renting through vrbo. A fabulous experience all around and sad when it was time to return to reality. The unit was everything you see in the pictures and location is awesome., basically just yards from beach access. Can't wait to stay at Playa Bida again. The unit is on the top floor which gives you a great view of the ocean - even on the second row, so I am not sure why other reviews had an issue with the stairs. Well worth the climb🤗
