"Place is cute/well done, but bring an eye mask otherwise you won’t sleep. They leave every wattage of exteriors lights on all night, and the window shutters in the rooms (as nice and charming as they are) don’t black out the light, so our room was lit up like a UFO was beaming us up all night. Also, they say “ocean view” rooms. Take that with a grain of salt. It’s partial at best, and only if you stand right at the window and crane your neck."

My feet were filthy after walking around the room so I had to throw on socks so I wasn't getting into bed with dirty feet. Also, the rooms facing the parking lot need better black out curtains because there was too much light in the room all night."

"The property was beautiful and the beach was uncrowded and very clean. That said shower water pressure was weak, bed is very hard in the king suite, and the pool bar was not open all weekend."

"Beautiful room, looks brand new and was nicely appointed with very nice furniture. The fridge was retro and cute, bed was very comfortable. Some dustier floors than I would have liked but sometimes this is to be expected in beachy environments. This was nothing major, overall the room was lovely and comfortable and I would recommend this as a great place to stay. "

"Found it strange that the room had no closet, wardrobe or any way to hang clothes or place suitcase other than bed or desk. Very disappointed in restaurant service on site. Walked in as single wanting to sit at a bar..:no bartender on duty at any of the bars in huge space. My room was pretty clean except the night table. Big fly buzzing around the room until I finally coaxed it out but for the under $100 night room, what can I expect?"

"We were greeted at the front desk by a very friendly lady that was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean. It had a kitchenette which came in handy. A full size refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and microwave. The coffee maker was fully stocked. We felt very safe and secure there. The breakfast had a wide choice of items from pancakes and sausage to cereals and fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend this hotel as everything was great!"

We have stayed twice and will try and stay here every time we visit. If they had a food option on site, this would be amazing, but the town is a short golf cart ride away. Highly recommend for any stay in Southport. "
