Looking for an ocean get-a-way to enjoy those painted beach sunrises and salty evening breezes? “Carolina Treat” managed by Dale and Salt Water Real Estate is a Pleasure Island North End marsh front condo with Sea sights, sounds, and experiences for the whole family. Beach-combing is just a hop and skip away and sun-seeking is an Ocean BREEZE with the Marsh in your backyard and sandy dunes a matter of feet away. Sun, Surf, and "BEACH" await you on your CB adventure!

Pleasure Island (Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher) has become a RAPIDLY increasing vacation (and full-time!) destination for the East coast and beyond for many reasons. It’s a family-oriented beach with a touch of everything one might be looking for! It’s an AMAZING place to visit, live, and never leave!

The home is directly on the North End of CB and is a long walk or short drive from downtown CB and everything that is has to offer. In CB you’ve got the boardwalk, restaurants, and local shops of all kinds. If you like adventures, the marina is also there where you can take an offshore fishing trip, diving excursion, or party boat out for a sunset sail.

Camping more your thing? Bring the 4X4 and drive (and camp) on the beach at Freeman Park, located on the North End of the island. You can also head down to KB and fish directly off their fishing pier complete with bait, tackles, and more! The Carolina Beach Lake is nearby, hosting a weekly Farmer’s Market every Saturday and FIREWORKS every Thursday. We welcome you to sit back, relax and enjoy yourselves because that's exactly what the beach is for!

The entry to this 1 bedroom and 2 bath home opens up into a large, furnished family room combined with an open dining area and fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven and refrigerator). The kitchen is stocked will all of the basic cooking and dining utensils one should expect (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.).

In addition, there is a microwave, toaster, blender, dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker ready to help make yourself at home (while on Vacay!).

A few of the amenities provided by your Owners include courtesy large shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel left in the bathroom of each bath as well. Also, a roll of TP in each bathroom, 1 roll of PT in the kitchen, 2 garbage bags per garbage, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dryer sheets, hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, coffee, tea, and pure cane sugar in each kitchen. Additional items are likely on sight as well!

The home's ONE (1) QUEEN bed and ONE (1) FULL pullout consists of either a plush luxury mattress or a new encased memory foam/cooling gel composition mattress because we want all of our guests to be comfortable when it comes time to recharge. *REMEMBER; a pullout is a PULLOUT. It will never bet as comfy as a bed for sensative sleepers . :)

There are multiple smart TV's including a 55' TV in the living room along with a WIFI computer connection for when it's time to sit back and enjoy some movies or shows after a long day at the beach!

But the highlights of this home will make you feel 50 shades of BLUE! Your un-obstructed salty marsh breezes from an array of vantage points throughout the home truly make for a special excursion! As if the coastal views, crisp morning breezes, and pelicans floating in tandem overhead less than a block away wasn’t enough, a private pool shared only with your fellow community members let's you check both the "saltwater" AND "freshwater" boxes respectively on your ADVENTURE!

THE POOL: The pool and its amenities are privately shared by residents and guests. ***OPEN!***

The HOME: Guests have full access to their own PRIVATE unit (never shared) along with a respective deck and balcony(s).

PARKING: Each guest will have access to (1) One assigned parking space in front of the building (the pass MUST be used!). Any additional community parking spaces would have metered/paid availability on a first come first serve basis and are located around CB.

•Closest BEACH access: Sea Oats Lane Public Beach Access (Sea Oats Lane).

I will be available for check-in and general assistance until 8PM EST. Anything with the exception of an emergency (ie. flood, fire, or another *safety* related risk sent to Maintenance) will be responded to ASAP the following day :)

Pleasure Island is a coastal barrier island in Southeastern North Carolina, USA just south of the City of Wilmington. Pleasure Island is located within Federal Point Township, in New Hanover County. The coastal resort towns of Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, as well as the annexed communities of Wilmington Beach and Hanby Beach are located on the island.

"Carolina Treat" sits Marsh Front and is under a hundred feet to the nearest beach access! The home itself is short ride or long walk from Downtown Carolina Beach with its shops, activities and dining. Carolina Beach and the surrounding neighborhoods offer an array of sights and activities to enjoy while here. Some of these examples are (but not limited to) a subtle beach hike through Carolina Beach State Park, Fishing on the Kure Beach Pier, kayaking to one of the many islands surrounding the Intracoastal Waterway, watching canons blast during a historical reenactment at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, or petting some Sting Rays at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.

This doesn’t even include the aweing scenery of Airlie Gardens, and our very own battleship (USS NC) in Wilmington! Perhaps more relaxing and less “adventure” is your speed? Our own local Brewery (Good Hops) along with a round of Frisbee golf may be what the doctor ordered!

There isn’t anywhere or anything on our Island that isn’t accessible with foot power. Downtown Carolina Beach has a number of vendors (such as Pleasure Island Rentals @ 2 N Lake Park Blvd Carolina Beach NC 28428 (golf carts) and Tony Silvagni’s Surf School @ 107 Charlotte ave Carolina Beach NC 28428 (bicycles, paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks) for rent as an alternative to walking or driving. Taxi’s (local golf cart taxi’s) and Uber’s are also generally available for an assist when needed as well throughout the island! You can catch a Ferry to Southport in Kure Beach @ 2422 Fort Fisher Blvd S Kure Beach which leads to another ferry to Bald Head Island where NO CARS are allowed at all!

After all, you won’t catch many locals going OTB! (Over The Bridge). Everything you need is right here!

Our partners include the Tony Silvagni Surf School for professional surf lessons, bicycle, umbrella and chair rentals, Hot Ticket Fishing Charters, Salty Dog Yoga, Amy’s Rise N Shine, and Griffin Cleaning and linens.

•Linens
(Sheets, bath towels, wash cloths pillowcases, wash cloths, bathmats) ARE included as part of the rental here (excluding beach towels which can be rented through scrubandgo@griffinscleaning dot org. If requiring extra or non-included linens, please reach out to Griffin Cleaning Services who is a partner with SWRE and will assist in any way possible! Please make sure all linens are placed in the basket or hamper before your departure! Please let all BED LINENS on the beds remain on the beds for our TEAM to take care of!

Carolina Beach

The Town of Carolina Beach offers multiple public parking options to visitors and residents on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis. Town-operated parking is open year round and paid parking is enforced March 1st - October 31st from 9AM - 8PM. Parking fees restart each morning during enforcement hours for all of the Town's parking lots and on-street parking spaces.

GOLF CARTS

•To the county, golf carts are considered automobiles. Generally speaking, golf carts are NOT allowed on premises of ANY condo, condotel, or apartment. The same goes for trailers, motorcycles, etc. For SFR’s or properties supporting multiple vehicles, carts should be OK. However, be conscious that few homes have external outlets WITHOUT GFCI’S (which are code by today’s standards). Charging a cart on a GFCI will immediately trip the breaker, resulting in the inability to charge a cart amongst other repercussions. Gas carts will generally be the ideal rental option if in a home whose parking supports such.

•ALL suites are non-smoking (including vaping) and a heavy cleaning/repair charge can result if not adhered to. This includes porches, decks, balconies, and walkways.

•There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee for ONE pup.

•April 1st through September 30th, dogs are allowed on the Carolina Beach during restricted hours of BEFORE 9:00 am and AFTER 5:00 pm. On the extreme North End of Carolina Beach, dogs are allowed on leash 24/7 on leash. In Kure Beach, dogs are NOT allowed at any juncture. Fort Fisher allows dogs on leash on the beach 24/7.

Pup rules for Pet Friendly homes

•Pups are NEVER allowed on any furniture. (*Single biggest added charge from the cleaners/owners post stay.)
•Do NOT let your pup bark excessively in any multi-unit environment.
•ALWAYS pick up after your pup IMMEDIATELY after the potty sesh.
•If maintenance needs to visit, ENSURE your pup is put in their respective kennels. This coincides with rule #1.
