No view. The advertisement claimed that there were excellent views of the ocean. In reality, you cannot even see the ocean unless you are standing up in the living room. The "view" is of the back of the high sand dunes.

Beachy Keen was a lovely place to stay. It was clean and had everything we needed to make our visit comfortable. The beach was beautiful and Wilmington is roughly a 30 minute drive away if you want to go out for a nice dinner or do some shopping.

Beautiful property, clean, well taken care of. Check in process and communications were top notch. Location to the beach was perfect. Cleanliness was evident and presentation was on point. Unit is a bit aged with decorations and the towels could use a refresh as they seemed to be a bit old. Also just a suggestion, not a knock, would be convenient if there were toiletries included with the stay (IE Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, etc). Overall great experience and loved the stay. Would 100% stay here again.

Perfect location

This is a great little rental for a family of 4. The unit was very clean, the beds and furniture comfortable, kitchen had everything needed for preparing meals. The location is perfect! Very easy walk to the beach as well as food, shops and boardwalk area.

Just ok

Furniture was old . Washing machine very loud . Construction directly across from the rental . Tree blocking the driveway entrance made it hard to park and exit the property . Access to beach with a beach wagon next to imposible as there was 3 steps up to the gate . Pool very old and small. Tub in main bedroom didn’t drain properly. Pictures on website make it look better then it actually was. The beach is beautiful- but other then that not considering going back to that site .

Wonderful stay at Beachy Keen!

Fantastic stay right on Carolina Beach. The property was exactly as described. Having your own washing machine and drying unit is a major plus!! Would highly recommend Beachy Keen as a stay right on the NC beach.

Ok stay

We loved the property but had frustrations with the host. They were unhelpful with a WiFi issue which caused us to go without internet for 24 hours. We also had to stop by their office to pickup parking passes. Every other rental property leaves them in unit for us. For the price we paid, that convenience would have been nice.

Poor Check in/out process

Cleanlyness was decent. View-limited view of ocean. Check in process was way too complicated. Check out process was over the top. We had to clean property-when we are paying for a cleaning fee and gratuities. Lastly, while we forgot to return our parking pass which was just a lamenated piece of paper. They made us over night it. Or they would charge us 100 dollars. Not a friendly process. P

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our time at Beachy Keen the location was perfect with small kids easy to walk back and forth to the condo from the beach and the pool was a great size for them too. We were able to walk to the boardwalk area and it’s very convenient to lots of other shops and restaurants. The condo itself was clean and the space worked well for our family of 4.

Great place to stay!

Check in process was simple-pick up parking passes down the street and return upon leaving. However, I wish they could have just been left at the rental. We actually got to check in a little after noon instead of the specified 4:00pm check in. It worked out perfectly because we arrived in the area hours early and weren’t sure what to do. The pool is extremely small. The house was very clean. The pictures shown, of the living room specifically, were accurate but they portrayed the room to seem like it would be much larger.

Perfect location

We have been visiting CB annually for many years. We have stayed many places and this location was perfect - walking distance to the boardwalk and all the restaurants and shops. Not to mention right on the beach with private access! Would definitely stay here again! Rental company was communicative and so easy to work with!

A Wonderful Vacation Condo

The condo was just as pictured and even exceeded my expectations. Pros- The condo was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need, You are right on the beach, great views and sounds of the waves, Keyless entry was nice, plenty of room for a family of 4, washer and dryer, balcony was large enough for all of us and it was close to different shops and restaurants. Con’s- This is mostly just us being picky but parking was difficult due to a large bush in the parking spot for our condo. Every time we would leave or come back it would scrape the side of our vehicle. It’s needs to be trimmed back some. The pool is under sized for the amount of condos in the building. We enjoyed it because nobody else was out there but if another family would have came we would have left due to it being so small. Over all this condo gets a 5 stars! It was a wonderful place for our family and we would definitely return!
