  • Welcome to the Bray Vacation Home, a sunny and spacious 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath retreat in beautiful Carnelian Bay, conveniently located between Kings Beach and Tahoe City. This inviting 2,315-square-foot mountain getaway features vaulted ceilings, warm knotty pine accents, comfortable leather furnishings, a spacious kitchen, and an open-concept floor plan designed for relaxing and gathering together.

    The large primary suite offers a luxurious escape with a two-sided gas fireplace, jacuzzi soaking tub, dual vanity, and oversized walk-in shower. Downstairs, guests can enjoy a separate entertainment room with a large flat screen TV and DVD player, perfect for movie nights or additional hangout space. Step outside to unwind in the private hot tub overlooking the landscaped backyard, or enjoy a friendly game of ping pong in the garage. Whether you're visiting for a summer lake getaway or winter ski adventure, the Bray Vacation Home is the perfect home base for your North Lake Tahoe vacation.

    The winter enthusiast will enjoy the Carnelian Bay location because they are close to Palisades Tahoe, Northstar California, cross country skiing, and the hot tub for apres ski. The summer oriented person will appreciate the Carnelian Bay location because it is close to world class hiking and biking trails, beaches, and the central location for easy access to both Kings Beach and Tahoe City.

    For larger groups including weddings and family reunions, this property is about 1/2 mile from the Idlewood Vacation Cabin.

    All Agate Bay Realty vacation rental properties are fully equipped with free high speed wireless internet, linens, bath towels (equal to the maximum occupancy of the house), pots/pans, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, TV/TV's with streaming services, washer & dryer and barbecue (many are only usable in the summer). The house will also provide a starter set of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

Perfect forest getaway

We lived our stay. The cabin was cozy and big enough for our family to feel we all had our own space. The surroundings are incredible and it was in a great location.

Grandkids first time in the snow

It was wonderful to have the yard for our grandkids to enjoy their first time in the snow. And the jacuzzi for the adults was a wonderful way to unwind.

This cabin is special. It is very, very homey and beautifully decorated. It felt much more like staying in a good friend's well stocked comfortable cabin not like a sparse vacation rental. It is spacious. The decks are beautiful - there is even a teeny tiny sliver of a view of the lake. The neighborhood is peaceful. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need. The beds are comfortable. The hot tub in the back amongst the trees was delightful. The cleaners do an excellent job between guests because it felt perfectly clean and fresh. We loved the Bray home and hope to return someday.

Tahoe getaway

The home was spacious and comfortable. I loved the living room large windows which we got plenty of natural lighting from. My overall impression is great for a family getaway and just a 10 minute drive to the lake and if needed the grocery store. I love the home and would love to stay there again in the future.

Excellent Home with Excellent Property Managers

I stayed here with a group of friends to ski Palisades for the week, and we were very impressed with the accuracy of the building, the clear communication from the management company, and the amenities available to us. The hosts were extremely responsive, and the space was perfect for a group vacation. It was a 10/10 experience!

The perfect stay!

We had an amazing stay for our thanksgiving trip with the family. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for the trip. The communication with the property manager was very good, the replies were very prompt and they were very accommodating. Amazing cleanliness with perfect utilities! Family friendly fun for everyone! Can’t wait to stay again!

Perfect Home For Family Vacation

Fantastic property, plenty of space, decor was adorable especially for young children. Easy drive to the mountain to ski, snow removal happened early morning after a big snow storm. Very communicative property manager. Peaceful and family friendly neighborhood.

Family birthday celebration in Carnelian Bay

The house was awesome. The beds were comfortable and plenty of room for us but we only had 6 people and a dog. Our grandkids loved the bunk bed room. The owners of this property had thought of everything and we had everything we needed. The front and back decks were great and the backyard hot tub was in a good spot with plenty of privacy. The neighborhood was quiet (at least the days we were there) and the amount of knick knacks in the house was amazing. It must have taken a long time to accumulate so many pictures and other artifacts. We would definitely recommend this home and would love going there again.

Nice quiet classic Tahoe home

House is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Short drive to Tahoe city. Well maintained. All the classic Tahoe charm in the decor. Clean working hot tub. Rental company was easy to work with and responsive. They allow dogs without any additional hassle. Would definitely rent again.
