Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "Mission Fields"! This home sleeps up to 6 guests.

Just off the beaten path, close to many desirable Carmel destinations, you will find this completely remodeled 1,630 sf home on a small cul-de-sac in the Mission Fields area of Carmel.

Get ready to walk to the Barnyard and Crossroads shopping centers and the Carmel Mission. Just a short drive brings you to Point Lobos State Reserve, downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and a variety of sandy beaches to choose from. Exploring Big Sur and other surrounding areas will be a breeze from this convenient location.

The entire home has been updated and is equipped with many extras like sound machines in the bedrooms, an attractive outdoor gathering area and an office space for those who need to keep up with work while they're on vacation with the family.

Living Spaces
The living room has comfortable seating options and a large flat screen TV with Comcast cable service. The decorative fireplace is not for burning but it is outfitted with battery operated candles to give the room a cozy glow. Tucked into one corner is an office nook with a built-in desk, office chair and printer.

Kitchen and Dining
The gourmet kitchen has a large island with counter seating, stainless steel appliances and small appliances galore including a single cup coffee maker as well as a conventional drip coffeemaker. This kitchen will delight chefs of all abilities. But if you decide to eat out, the choices are numerous, so you should plan to stay awhile. The open concept kitchen includes a large dining table with seating for six.

Outside
The back patio is set up for good times. Comfortable seating surrounds the gas fire pit and an outdoor heater, large umbrella and ping pong table will add to your enjoyment year-round. Pick some fresh herbs for your meals from the raised garden beds.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 has a sumptuous king bed, TV with Comcast cable service, a walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom with a deep soaking tub as well as a separate steam shower and two sinks. This space has all the makings of a retreat within a retreat.

Bedrooms #2 and #3 each have a queen bed and are located across the hall from the second bathroom with a shower-over-tub.

The washer and dryer are located in the garage. The garage is not available for parking at this time but 2-3 vehicles may park in the driveway. An electric vehicle (EV) charger is located on the outside of the garage - Guests should bring their own cable/cord and adapter.

Great Property Close to Downtown

House is as advertised! Very clean modern property within walking or jogging distance to downtown Carmel. Nice quiet neighborhood and great space for a single family to stay in. We stayed with our daughter and my wife's parents and it was the perfect size for the 5 of us. Highly recommended and would stay again.

Wonderful place for a girls getaway!!

It was great experience. The house came with so many amenities. Fully stocked with dishes and appliances and anything needed. We were able to make a beautiful a wonderful dinner and sleep 6 ladies comfortably. The bathrooms were super clean and the living area cozy. Sad we couldn’t take advantage of the backyard but it was very nice. We would definitely visit again.

We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay here! We had a two year old and a 5 month old so we spent a lot of time in the house between naps and bed time. The home had everything we needed. The sound machines in every room and the blackout shades were such an added bonus. The kitchen and dining areas were spacious. We would definitely recommend and would definitely come back! Thank you!

High quality and very clean lovely property

Loved this house. Very clean. Very high quality fittings, seamlessly integrated. Lots of nice features and plenty of facilities, all very well done. Location near a Main Road, but was not a problem as traffic quiet at night and double glazing good. Agency extremely helpful. Would come again

Great property in a great location.

The house was overall very clean and well equipped. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The location is excellent and easy to get to the beach or the town. There were mouse droppings in the pantry and in the master bedroom. That was disappointing and the only reason this isn't a 5 star review overall. The company managing the property was quick to send someone out to clean it up and set some traps. They explained that 'these things can happen' when your property is near the ocean. I live near the ocean and I don't have mice... anyway, we didn't actually see any rodents, just the droppings. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

This house was perfect for our young family. Fun ping pong table, lots of space, big table. It was very well-stocked and very clean. Communication was quick and easy and there were lots of little welcoming touches. Close drive to all the places we wanted to go and very quiet neighborhood.

Perfection, As Advertised....

This house at Mission Fields is nothing short of spectacular. We've probably stayed at a half dozen higher-end vacation rentals before happily and this is heads & shoulders above the crowd for several reasons. The home is incredibly well-appointed with everything one needs...the exceptional coffee maker (Moccamaster - I looked it up) brews in 90 seconds flat; Tempurpedic beds, the steam shower was DELIGHTFUL - we would return for the steam shower alone. The backyard is charming, with wonderful furniture, BBQ and herbs/produce growing...Perfect location, the 'town' side of Hwy 1, so even when town is VERY full, which it often is, one can easily take backroads (car, bike, foot) to be in Carmel proper in 5 minutes or less - this is an extraordinary feature, the sheer location. The Barnyard is more or less directly behind the house for total shopping/dining convenience, also. This property is not even a well above average rental, you can tell it is someone's pristine private home - all furniture, finishes, appliances, etc. are new(er) and very high end. The neighborhood is quiet and very lowkey (the home does back to Hwy 1, the road noise generally did not bother us, but for those extremely noise-sensitive or in warm/summer months, be aware)..the house has all sorts of books, games, small appliances/home comforts..we could not have been happier. If you like conventient, tidy, and outstanding home comforts, this is the vacation property for you & yours.

Great Stay!

We had a great time in Carmel for Christmas. The house was very comfortable - the furniture and beds especially. Great shower and tub. Location was excellent, near the Crossroads and Barnyard. It was perfect for what we needed!

Cozy, perfect...home away from home!

I can't say enough about this lovely, perfect home! We are lovers of Carmel, and were in town to celebrate my Mom's 70th Birthday, and my daughter's completion of her Masters and CPA...Carmel absolutely did not disappoint, but we truly had the best time, just being at this darling little house, cooking, playing games, and lounging around. The owners have done a beautiful job with design, and really thought of every single thing, with little charming touches everywhere. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked, towels were plentiful, and most importantly, everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable, living room cozy, and the backyard was perfect to enjoy the cool Carmel nights. Also, plenty of closet space, with iron/ironing boards, tons of hangers, and luggage racks, as well. The primary bath is a DREAM...so well done, and completely gorgeous! Check-in/out very easy. Just so clean, organized, perfect...it felt like home, and we were more bummed than I can say, to have to leave. We plan on being in Carmel many more times over the years, and will definitely be back for time at this incredible little Carmel cottage! Thank you for providing such an incredible home and experience for us...we so loved being in your home!

Beautiful house

The house was gorgeous, clean, and had everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The house is about 1.5 miles from all the little restaurants and shops in Carmel, 2 miles to the beach. Management was very responsive to our requests -more coffee ;0)

Great backyard, close to downtown Carmel

Cozy home, located close to a grocery store, gas station, and shopping. Close to Carmel beaches. Home came with all standard amenities. Nice patio setup with outdoor fire pit, BBQ and TV. Only real downside was one of the bedrooms smelled like weed and all the beds were pretty uncomfortable.
