Spectacular Modern at the Beach!

One block to the beach. Five blocks to the Village of Carlsbad.

Just one block from the sand! Contemporary finishes - commercial appliances, natural gas fire pit and grill, high efficiency heating and air conditioning, 55' Smart TV, and super-fast, reliable internet and wi-fi.

The suite is fully furnished, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We provide all linens and beach towels. We also have plenty of beach chairs, beach umbrellas, Boogie Boards, sand toys which are shared with other renters. We always have more in our inventory if needed.

There is no carpeting -- just luxurious porcelain floors. Slab quartz counters, European Hans Grohe Rain Showers, washer and dryer in unit. Did we mention the game room? Pinball, video games, Foosball and shuffleboard.

Free street parking.

The Wind Suite (1 bedroom/1 bath) may be rented independently or combined with the Wave Suite (2 bedroom/2 bath) to create a 3 bedroom/3 bath suite.

There is no smoking or pets allowed anywhere on the property.

Great location! Walk to restaurants, the charming village shops, the farmers' market and nightlife are all nearby!

Perfect!

This property was perfect for the 2 of us. Clean, uncluttered, comfortable (oh that bed was wonderful!), modern and 1/2 block from the beach. Walking distance to Carlsbad and shops and restaurants. The two best property managers we've ever come across. They were there in a snap when we had an oven malfunction. Game room and beach gear shed a bonus! This was a perfect stay! We hope to return soon!

Beautiful rental with an excellent location

My husband and I stayed for a week for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The communication with the management team was excellent and they answered any questions we had right away. The location of the home to the beach and village was within walking distance. The home was very clean and well maintained. We will be back!

Wind Suite WOW

From the moment we booked the property, we knew we made the right choice in a vacation getaway. The Vacation in Carlsbad team was responsive, sensitive to our needs, and incredibly attentive. We received a welcome text with arrival instruction reminders 15 minutes before our flight landed. We were celebrating two birthday milestones and the team had a birthday welcome waiting for us when we arrived. The keyless entry meant no worry over lost keys. The space was perfect for the two of us. The sleek and stylish furnishings coupled with the functional and efficient design of the space (not to mention the large windows and our own patio space with fire pit) made it feel much larger than the actual square footage. High end appliances and porcelain flooring made the living easy. Oh, and did I mention the rain shower? Leave your cares at home. Everything you need is here! We had access to beach gear and small coolers. All the items in storage were labeled with the name of our suite so we always knew what what ours and what belonged to the other vacationers. No mixups! The outdoor shower made clean up a breeze. We even made friends with the folks staying in an adjacent suite! The location was amazing...a one block walk to the beach (you could view the ocean from the property...some suites were better than others) and a short 10-minute leisurely walk to Carlsbad Village (shops, services, restaurants). It was a reasonable hike to the grocery store. We ditched the car after two days and saved a bundle. We plan to stay at the Wind Suite again in the near future.

Great accommodations

It met our needs exceptionally well. A block from the beach, a short walk into Carlsbad Village with restaurants, shops, coffee, farmers' market, etc. Bright, clean apartment, with all necessary features: new appliances, good bed, indoor and outdoor showers, TVs with cable, towels, beach chairs and toys. Electronic entry made for worry-free entrance and exists. More off-street parking would be nice, but it is a quiet, safe neighborhood, so on-street parking near the apartment worked out fine. (One minor complaint: the exterior light above the front door was on 24/7, and it throws light through the large glass panel in the front door, producing more light in the front hall throughout the night than is preferable for those liking a dark suite at night. I'd recommend either a switch to turn off that light at night or shades on the inside of the front door.) Rental cost was reasonable, and the owners/managers were easy to deal with, easily reachable for questions, and quite accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and may return some day if the circumstances are right. 5 stars well earned!
