Esta casa permite dormir cómodamente para 10 personas cómodamente. ¡No encontrarás una casa más bonita decorada de manera brillante y divertida! ¡También tenemos juegos arcade y retro para los niños pequeños y grandes! Pantalla plana de 65 "con cable de TV de Youtube, 55" en el Master y 34 "en la sala de literas. Nice, comfortable place to stay. The property was clean and quiet, with a multitude of entertainment options. Kitchen and dishware was sufficient for cooking basic meals.Good base for Guadalupe Mountains and Carlsbad Caverns National Parks, and nice to relax in after a full day of adventure.

Really enjoyed this home! Plenty of rooms, tvs, dishes and seating. The AC/Heating was great and the sheets, covers and towels were clean and soft. My son really enjoyed the retro video game. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Nice place to stay with the necessary ammenities and comfortable beds! Easy drive to Carlsbad Caverns park. House on a main road, but could NOT hear traffic. Good food in this town too. The host was very helpful and responsive. I would stay here again!

The home was used a place to relax after of long day of visiting attractions in the area: Carlsbad Cave (which is amazing), Guadalupe Mts and several others. It contained everything we needed, was clean and in a fairly quiet area of town. Everything from reservations to check in and check out was communicated in a timely manner. Our only issue was the door going to garage needs a new seal - it was quite noisy with whistling air, and we had to keep to partial open - other than that we would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

The property was ok for our trip. However, if we had been traveling with children it would not have been. The lights in the bunk room would not come on. (possibly dead batteries in the remote) The code we were given to get in the front door did not work, and the owner seemed to think we were just entering it wrong. It was never corrected. Also, there is a cool old gaming system in the living room, which we also couldn't get to work. Again, we didn't have any children with us, so it was not that big a deal for us. When you rent a home on VRBO, you expect it to be as advertised and everything in working order. This home was a little disappointing, and we have rented from VRBO over 20 different times. One thing that would be beneficial is a binder with information about the home instead of an online book. Seeing it in print is better than trying to download something to a phone.

The property was well maintained and exactly as the pictures show. We really didnt use the kitchen but it was fully equipped for making a basic meal. Full size laundry, garage use, pretty sure a TV in every room. We were so busy with the national park and other planned activities we weren't around much. It was comfortable and met all our needs.

Needs attention

Unfortunately I believe the owner does not live in the area. At the front door there was a half inch of dirt covering the floor and the mat. I understand it is Spring but this did not happen overnight. We spent over an hour cleaning the outside furniture in the backyard which as filled with 12 inch weeds. Not the condition I would leave for guests.

Wonderful house in Carlsbad

The house was great. Very clean. Everything was labeled (light switches, kitchen cabinets, etc.) Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating. Lots of towels, extra pillows, blankets. We would definitely stay there again if we returned to Carlsbad.

This is a lovely property and perfect for our needs. The place was exactly as described, clean and ready for our arrival. The kitchen was well appointed and we ate in often. Comfortable and convenient

This home was very convenient for us - easy to get onto roads leading to the Caverns and Guadalupe. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms spacious. The Living Desert was a highlight in Carlsbad and the hike. We ate twice at El Jimador. The Cavern was amazing of course as were hikes in Guadalupe. Only issue some of us had that is not under the owners’ control was the three or four barking dogs in the neighborhood - they were quiet after dark tho. Pat

Comfy Clean Close

We spent three nights. Home is spacious and worked well for two couples to enjoy with fairly separated bedrooms and nice central open living area. Home was comfortable and clean and was a nice base location to enjoy the local national parks. Kitchen ha needed cooking utensils and serving wear and lots of various appliances. There is a grocery near by to pick up any basics like coffee etc, as the kitchen is kept clean of old food stuff. We would stay again. We didn't take advantage of small backyard covered patio with grill, but it looked like a nice place to sit on a cool evening. Communication with host was all good, very clear and organized. Enjoy!

Could be nice, but it wasn't

We ended up arriving at the house at 10:30 PM, only to find it a mess. Had it been earlier and had we not been so tired from traveling, we would have left immediately and found a local hotel. From the overly full trash can out front, I suspect that the previous guests really trashed the place and the cleaning crew did the best they could in the time they had. But the place was filthy when we arrived. There were two dirty, used sponges at the kitchen sink. There was what appeared to be cat kibble on the kitchen floor. The kitchen pantry bi-fold doors were gross: the one on the right had bloody fingerprints and the one on the left had a brown goo on it. There was a dried smear on the wall next to the fridge which had tomato seeds sticking in it. There was dried snot (I hope it was snot) on the primary bathroom door knob. The primary bathroom toilet had fecal stains in it. The second bathroom has what appears to be mold on the wall above the shower tile. We took photos and submitted them to VRBO. The place could be nice. But the whole place needs a fresh coat of paint. The walls are dirty. The doors are dirty. There are no encasements on the mattresses or pillows. Bedbugs anyone? We left after one night. Owner gave $100 refund of "the cleaning fee." This place has amazing ratings previously, so we were shocked by the condition and (lack of) cleanliness.

The check in process was easy as was the check out process. The instructions for the stay were easy to follow. There was plenty of room for our group and there were 8 of us. This home is located on a very busy street so probably not the best fit for parents with small children. The rug in the living room had a turned up corner which made it a trip hazard. It was not as clean as we hoped it would. The sheets smelled slightly spoiled and one of the comforts was dusty. There was no fire extinguisher. We noticed this when we were learning where everything was located. Not enough towels. We hope all of this can be corrected for the next guests.
