Absolutely great time!! Accommodations were perfect! The Host was quick to respond to any questions. Beautiful place to relax with family. Near Legoland and many attractions. Definitely will look for this place next time I'm in Cali!!

We were in town for our daughter’s graduation and this location was perfect. Centrally located to all great San Diego/North County attractions. Close to stores and beach and very easy to get around by foot or car. The beautifully decorated home is furnished with everything you need to feel comfortable during stay. The property has a lovely backyard and feels very private. We will be back!

Steve's home was perfect for our stay and the family visitors who dropped by to visit. Communication was excellent as was the location. Bedrooms were set up well and the beds were excellent. This home is set up so well that it might well serve as a great retirement home near the village and beach. Loved it.

A great vacation spot

Close to the beach and lots of good eating spots. A reasonable drive to San Diego for a day trip to the zoo or other attractions down there. We certainly intend to return here when we vacation in southern CA

Great location, as in a one mile walk to the Village and beach area and close to family nearby. Interior of house was modernized and well equipped re kitchen needs, bedding, family room/tv, etc.

Nice place in great location!

We enjoyed the newly renovated interior with all the amenities, outside gas fire pit, etc. The location is convenient to downtown restaurants and beach. Thank you for being a great host!

Great Experience

We were so comfortable at this pristine property. Nicely renovated and tastefully decorated, we had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. We enjoyed both the BBQ and the firepit, and the many cute restaurants in charming downtown Carlsbad that were within walking distance. We appreciate how welcome the host made us feel - great communication!

This home was warm and inviting. It was comfortable and well thought out everything that we needed was included in things that we didn’t even think about were available to us to use. We appreciated the communication when we needed. We could not say more positive things about staying at this property. We have family in the area and we’re already hoping to stay here the next time we visit.

Lovely Home

Very nice experience. Home appears recently remolded and well stockedEnjoyed the fire pit especially since weather was cool. Appreciated cleanliness and timely responses from owner, Steve. Location was great in that a nice walk or quick drive took us to beach, town and multiple restaurants.

Family time

The house was well appointed, clean and updated throughout. The back yard was very enjoyable with the comfy chairs and fire pit! Thank you for such a great getaway! The only thing we could think of was maybe gave a couple of extra throw blankets, but overall we give our stay a 10/10!

Very clean and beautiful property

It was everything that we expected and hoped for! Extremely clean, nice AC and fans, all hard-surface floors, well-stocked kitchen, lots of kitchen counter space, …and everything was working perfectly and well maintained (unlike some properties that we’ve stayed at before.). Thank you for a very comfortable stay!

My friend and I had a girls getaway week and stayed at the Costal Carlsbad home. The property is as advertised and is convenient to anything you want to do in Carlsbad. The property itself was clean and equipped with everything you would possibly need for a stay of any length. The only thing you need to bring to this property is your own clothes and food…anything else you will find provided for you. Check-in was easy and the owner very responsive to inquiries. We would definitely return to this property if vacationing in Carlsbad.

Quick Carlsbad Vacation

The cottage was adorable! It was my husband and I, and our 3 teenagers that stayed and there was plenty of space. Everything was clean and updated, the backyard was lovely though we didn't get to enjoy it due to weather. Communication was excellent as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway

This place was a fantastic getaway for me and my family. It had all the amenities and tools needed for a great stay…even down to beach accessories. Steve was very communicative and helpful. The only slight downside was the traffic noise. Other than that, we loved our stay!!
