Carlsbad Paradise 2 - Beach and Legoland nearby

Ideal for couples, small families or travelers passing through. Our two bedroom apartment is is the perfect beach bungalow. Walking distance to the beach, quaint downtown Carlsbad, and much much more. 10 minute drive from the Carlsbad Airport (CLD). This BRAND new residence highlights a full kitchenette and laundry. The apartment comfortably sleeps six with queen size beds in the dual master bedrooms and a full sized sofa bed in the family room. The home features Streaming TV and WIFI. The apartment also features full laundry facilities.

The kitchenette is stocked with dishes, silverware; there's also a refrigerator/freezer, single burner induction cooktop, pots/pans, microwave, toaster oven / air fryer and coffee maker. Nearly all that you need while on vacation in this beach community.

Located in northern Carlsbad, we are 5 minutes from Legoland, 30 minutes from downtown San Diego, and less than an hour from Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm, Hollywood, Universal Studios, and many other southern California attractions are well within close driving distance. Our home is very centrally located. Many features are well within walking distance or a short drive. The bus and train terminal is also within walking distance.

IMPORTANT: Due to potential allergies, we prefer no pets or smoking. Off street parking is offered (1 car only). Please note the apartment is located down (4) stairs. STVR Permit # BLRE013225-02-2023

Heather was wonderful. She happened to be out when we arrived and greeted us as well as answered any of our questions along with the willingness to be contacted for any problems or questions, which we didn't have any. We really enjoyed our stay. It had a nice laundry room, a small kitchen area which was amole for what we needed. The bedrooms we a good size and the bathroom was very spacious. There is the road noise but they provide ear plugs if you are bothered by it. We weren't. It was a white noise to go to sleep by. The location was great as well. You are very close to a large amount of ships, restaurants, the beach, roughly 35 min from the San Diego Zoo and easy access to the highway. We would definitely stay there again.

Carlsbad Family Visit

We were visiting family who lived on the same street so that’s the main reason we picked this property as well as the overall set up seemed it would work. The property was EXTREMELY clean. The living room area was somewhat smaller than I envisioned it would be but it made no difference to us as we were on the go quite a bit. Bedrooms are great size, and with there being only one bath (which was a challenge for our group sometimes as we normally pick places with 2), it was at least large and laid out well. Yes, it’s right next to the freeway but once you are in your condo and hanging out in the back, it was no big deal to us and not an issue. We could still walk to Carlsbad village and our family members home so that was our great benefit. Love the Village!

I absolutely loved staying here. Joel and Heather are phenomenal. Its clean, spacious, unbelievable views.The only draw back was on my part. It has a kitchenette and not a kitchen. I didnt pay close enough attention, thats on me. sexplained in the details.

Wonderful property with one major problem for some folks

This is a lovely small (2 bedroom, 1 bath) apartment overlooking a charming lagoon in Carlsbad. The furnishings and kitchen are up to date, the unit is very clean, and there is a plant filled patio with chaises and chairs overlooking the lagoon and on to the ocean. The hosts are exceedingly responsive and highly professional. The single drawback has been noted in many prior reviews: a very high level of noise from two freeways that are very close to the home. While the home itself is well soundproofed, the roar from the freeways is omnipresent outside 24/7. If that is not an issue for you, this is an ideal rental. If it is an issue, be forewarned.

Felt Like Home

This is a fantastic place for an extended multi-week stay in Carlsbad. Joel & Heather are respectful, kind, and helpful hosts. It is roomy and clean. Everything works well. The view of Buena Vista Lagoon is absolutely stunning. The patio is a wonderful place to relax. By the time we checked out we really felt like we were moving away from home.

Anniversary getaway

The property was as described and the hosts, Joel and Heather, were very communicative. We enjoyed our stay and we will stay here again. The view of the lagoon was beautiful, especially at sunset. We loved watching the pelicans and the cranes. Everything we needed was a very short drive away. 10/10 highly recommended!

Mother daughter trip
