Head into Brampton or venture into bustling Carlisle, 8 miles away, to shop or dine out. Travel 8 miles to Gretna Green, into Scotland, with its shops, eateries and marriage-themed activities. Pack a picnic and drive 15 miles to the fringes of the North Pennines or 21 miles to the scenic Lake District.

From the entrance hall, where you will find the convenient ground-floor WC and laundry area, head on through to discover high-quality accommodation that blends original and contemporary features beautifully. Here you can prepare the fresh Cumbrian produce you have bought in town, then sit down to dine in style. There is a king-size and a super-king-size room to choose from, each with a beautiful view. The super-king-size has a bed that can also be made up as a twin by prior agreement, plus a freestanding bath for long, bubble baths.
