Space
Versatile large 4 bed apartment, big light and airy lounge/diner, 2 bathrooms and plenty of space over two floors. To accommodate parties of all sizes from one person to seven people we charge a base nightly rate that includes one person. Then we charge a per person per night fee so that it makes it fair for everyone whether you are two people or seven you will pay a fair price for the property.

The property is brand new throughout as we've recently refurbished the whole building.

Guest access
The whole apartment. If only a couple of guests just the one floor. If you need more bedrooms there are 3 more on the floor above. The main entrance is a street level and access to the living and sleeping areas is up one set of stairs where there is a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and up another flight of stairs for second bathroom and bedrooms.

Guest interaction
We live in Newport and our housekeeper Rhi lives in Porthcawl so are around if you need us. We are also on the phone 24/7 for anything you need!

Neighbourhood overview
Lovely seaside town with loads of activities come rain or shine. My place is close to the beach, great views, parks, restaurants and dining, shops and cafes, Trecco bay theme park and swimming pool. You’ll love the high ceilings, the views, the location, and the people.

Getting around
Plenty of public transport within walking distance.

Depending on other bookings check in and out can be flexible.
We don't have our own private parking, however there are a few street parking spaces directly outside the property and also available in nearby streets. If a space directly outside is not available when you arrive you can unload and then drive to find a parking space.

We are listed as Verified Accommodation with Visit Wales.

Weekend family break & wedding

Our family of 7 with 2 babies enjoyed a wonderful wedding weekend in the apartment. Great facilities with everything we needed for our stay . Very comfortable and spacious bedrooms . The location was perfect being close to seafront and shops.

Amazing property

Very spacious property, very close to town, 5 mins walk to the beach front. Only down side is parking but you can. Unload and load at the property, if you hold a blue badge you’re ok to park.

Comfortable stay in good location

Overall we were pleased with this rental. The location is excellent for accessing restaurants and other services in Porthcawl … an easy walk down to the shoreline and beyond. The unit was very clean and reasonably spacious. There are a lot of stairs, no problem for us but if anyone had a mobility issue this might be a challenge. We used two of the four bedrooms, other bedrooms were locked so would not have been good if we had needed a third bedroom in the event someone was unwell. We found the recycling/garbage directions a bit confusing or unclear. Further, the unit advertised having a laundry machine, but we never found it and the owner did not respond to my inquiry. There are two good bathrooms, both side-by-side on the main level but not close to the upstairs bedrooms, again a small inconvenience. Parking is available on all the adjacent streets, but sometimes involved a bit of circling the area to find a spot, but that would be the same for most rentals in the inner core. Beds were reasonably good and living room furniture was comfortable. All in all an acceptable rental.

Beautiful apartment

Since we used this apartment last year, it has been redecorated, even though it was lovely the first time! Alexlouise provided a good travel cot and suitable toys and games for the children. She has also modernised the lighting. Would definitely book again. Highly recommended.

Great place

The photographs do not do this place the justice it deserves. It kept very clean and to a high standard. The cupboards have pretty much everything you need. There were milk, biscuits, tea, coffee sugar and a cupboard full of condiments. There is a large co-op about 2 minutes away on foot. There is plenty of on street parking available all day and evening. Lovely warm house what more can you ask for.

Perfect place and location

The accommodation and location was perfect. There were only 2 of us but could see how the flat would easily accommodate more people. Pictures didn’t do the place justice, the flat was gorgeous and super comfortable. Communication with host was spot on, and they were super responsive. Would recommend without hesitation and will stay again
