The good: Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, Great hot tub, secluded and quiet, nice views
The Bad: Temperature regulation challenges, Power lines that obstruct view (removed by Photoshop in listing photo), Incorrect entry code provide at check in, Overly sensitive smoke alarm.

Our family had a mixed experience at Green Meadow Vista that started with some unfortunate hiccups but ultimately provided a peaceful getaway. The location truly delivers on its promise of seclusion and tranquility, surrounded by beautiful mountain views that made for relaxing mornings on the deck. The house itself has some excellent amenities - the beds were genuinely comfortable after long hiking days, the kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed for family meals, the hot tub was great and the deck became our evening ritual under the stars.
However, we encountered several issues that future guests should be aware of. The check-in process got off to a frustrating start when the entry code provided didn't work, leaving us standing outside with luggage until we could reach the property manager. Throughout our stay, we struggled with temperature control - the heated floors are always on fighting against the A/C. The smoke alarm proved overly sensitive, going off during normal cooking activities, which was jarring.
Most disappointingly, the listing photos appear to have been digitally altered to remove prominent power lines that actually run directly across the main view from the deck and living areas. While the mountain scenery is still lovely, these power lines are quite noticeable and significantly impact the "pristine wilderness" aesthetic shown in the photos. Despite these drawbacks, the property's peaceful setting and quality amenities like the hot tub and kitchen made for an enjoyable stay overall, though we'd recommend the owner address the misleading photos and operational issues for future guests.
