All brand new. Complete remodel. Be the 1st guest in. Located overlooking Safety Harbor. 2 Amazing decks overlooking the Harbor. Great boat activity. Fantastic Kayaking, paddle boarding and boating. We have 3 local dolphins in the harbor. They are accustomed to people and love the activity. Bring your boat the property has it’s own private dock. Take the Ferry and get a boat rental. Private rides to the island available from Punta Gorda. Property currently has 2 golf carts.

Beautiful house and view

The location is great - you can easily walk to Mangos or watch the boats coming and going from the big upstairs windows. The house is beautifully decorated. We were grateful to have laundry and dish soap present and lots of towels. There is noise from the pool and bar if you sit outside, but the proximity to the party was great otherwise.

Outstanding location with dock on North Captiva

This is our third stay on North Captiva and by far our favorite view. The dock was a big attraction as we had our own boat. The property manager was great about answering any questions before our visit (we didn’t have any questions or problems during the stay). The home has been updated and is very nice and clean. The online images are very accurate. We enjoyed the Safety Harbor amenities while being next door to the island club. We had a great week and definitely recommend this house!

Best Vacation Spot Ever!

I want to start by saying that Lisa is, truly, a gem. From the time I booked the house, she was available to answer questions, make suggestions, and is SO fast to respond. The house is REALLY a great place to stay! The location CANNOT be beat! It is private but so close to everything. The house was spotless, comfortable, well-furnished, and had everything to make the vacation fun. I can't wait to stay here again.......it really is a great place at a great price!

Perfect location

If you have a boat, it's the perfect location. If you don't have a boat, it's still the perfect location. Located next to NCIC (one of the ferries that brings you over from the mainland), you don't even need a golf cart to transport your bags, because the NCIC ferry unloads next to the dock of this house. If you haven't been to Captiva Island, or know very little about it, you need a boat to get there and there aren't any cars - only golf carts and sandy pathways. So, if you want to leave, you're likely walking, riding a bike or taking a golf cart. This place comes with two golf carts, which is more convenient that we realized. But what's also really cool is that it is RIGHT NEXT DOOR to Mango's, a fun bar and restaurant with tennis coursts, two pools and a hot tub. If you're adventurous, you walk to the edge of the dock, swing your leg around the fence, and walk 50 yards to their pool. If you're not, you take a golf cart 200 yards to the end off the road, take a left, then another quick left into the NCIC/Mangos parking lock. The house itself is well designed, with the bedrooms on the lower floor (keeping it cooler during the warm months), but a little dated (which we thought was really fun and charming, with their long vertical blinds not-terribly-large kitchen). But we were especially appreciative of it because half of our (extended) family stayed at a new home on the air strip just north of us. The owners (or managers) or that property actually had cameras set up so that when they showed up with four adults and four youths, rather than six adults (as they'd indicated on their application) the property managers texted or called saying that they didn't expect eight people (two of them were under 12). My sister explained that two of them were supposed to stay at our property, which was totally fine because the owners of our property were really cool. Dogs are fine. Kids are fine. In fact, our 18 year-old son tried to move one of the golf carts while it was plugged in, ripping the plug from the transformer. I mentioned it to her, expecting to pay for the damage to it. but she said, "Don't worry about it. Stuff happens." We didn't have a boat, which would have made it the perfect place because of their dock. But next time, we'll bring (or rent) a boat.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Excellent location. The owner was quick to respond to any issues. The house was a bit dirty and lacks some basic things mostly in the kitchen. With a thorough clean and some updated items in kitchen it would be a 5 star stay.

Location Location Location

Had a great time at the Dolphin Bay House. Million dollar views from the deck, spacious with an open floor plan, had everything you need (including two got carts!), and the location cannot be beat. Literally 30 feet from the ferry drop-off, walking distance to two restaurants, the convenient store, and boat rental. We will be back!

Island getaway

The property was very clean and nice. Driving golf cart to the beach and collecting shells at sunset was perfect. Will definitely be back!
