NUEVA PROPIEDAD, DISPONIBLE 15 DE FEBRERO! Esta soleada casa de playa se encuentra a solo 3 minutos a pie de la mundialmente famosa playa de Turner, una de las pocas propiedades. Con 2 dormitorios y 2 baños, una sala de estar con cocina de concepto abierto que se abre a un patio con mosquitero, este es el lugar perfecto para sus vacaciones. También a poca distancia se encuentran 3 de los restaurantes más famosos de Captiva: Mad Hatter, Lazy Flamingo y Sunset Grill. Esta es la casa de huéspedes en una propiedad grande con dos casas, pero está bastante lejos de la casa principal y completamente separada. Esta casa está realmente más cerca de la playa que la principal y no debe esperar ver a otros huéspedes en la propiedad durante su estadía, así que no deje que el concepto de ser una casa de huéspedes suplementaria para una casa más grande lo asuste. this is the cutest place ever! my husband and I got married on Sanibel and we booked both of these homes for some friends to stay in. It was all so so perfect! Thank you for the beach toys and puzzles. It was so islandy and cozy.

Great location! Appliances rusted and should be updated. No ice maker, only one ice tray, and no drinking glasses. But management was great, overall we enjoyed it and would book again!

This property was clean enough and close to the beach. Plenty of towels were available and the beds were comfortable.A few things made up our mind not to stay at this property again. Firstly, nearly every appliance in the kitchen as well as the washer and dryer had rust on the interior and exterior. My husband went to get an ice cube for his drink from the freezer and it had rust particles on it. Secondly, the built-in ice maker on the outside of the fridge was broken and the stopper in the bathtub was not working. We let the owners know when we got there. They promised to send a tech the next day. No one came the entire time we were there. I am more of a shower person than a tub one but I just had foot surgery a few weeks before the trip and my doc prescribed me to soak in warm standing water at least once a day which I was not able to do. The last issue was that there was no carbon monoxide detector and the fire detector was ripped out of the wall.The microwave was the tiniest we have ever seen and the shower head made it highly unpleasant to take a shower. The owner offered 10% applied toward our next visit if we gave a good review but we just were not able to do that given all the issues. More consideration needs to be given to the guest and their overall vacation experience.

Great location and peaceful

We had 2 couples, and we loved the bungalow. It was perfect for the access to the beach, the open floor plan, and access to the rest of the island. We rented a golf cart, which was a fun way to explore Captiva. We also rented bikes with the easy access to the bike trails. We pushed the twin beds together and used it for one of the couples. Great house and location. Very quick communication from the property owner.

Great Captiva Getaway

We had a great stay at the Bungalow! The house was clean and in order, communication with the property manager was superb. The beach was so close for sunset watching every night. The bungalow is right at the start of the bicycle path to Sanibel, so couldn’t have been more perfect for us. We just loved it!

Our Stay at The Bungalow

Clean. Within walking distance to the beach. Beach chairs and beach toys a nice touch. Good location. Quiet location. The only thing missing are draperies on all of the windows. The sun shines through the sliding glass doors in the morning and makes it a little warm. Could probably save some money by putting up blinds to keep the sun out and not run the air conditioner constantly. All in all we had a lovely stay at The Bungalow in Captiva . Thank you.

Nice Property

Our group was three women ages 55 to 84 and a 20 month old toddler. Mostly a very positive experience, but it would have been nice to have sliding glass door blinds or draperies for privacy in the living room, as it faced the main house. Also there were a lot of loose cords and cables in the living room which were enticing to a toddler. Except for the stairs which were difficult for the 84 year old and toddler, we would definitely consider returning here.

So much beach, so little time!

This was my 3rd time to stay at the bungalow but having the pathway to the beach was a gamechanger for sure!! If you like shelling, and we do, it is the perfect place to stay as you can even do some night shelling close to the house. We will be back for certain in the future!

The property more than met our expectations. Our host was friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond to any needs or requests. We will definitely stay there if we are given the opportunity to come to Sanibel and Captiva again. We try to come every year to Sanibel.

Beautiful Condo and Location

This condo is true to its listing. Beautifully decorated, very clean, and great views. Greg was friendly, very informative, and quick to respond. The area was quiet and within walking distance to some shops/restaurants, as well as a short walk to the beach. The unit was also stalked with anything we could need while staying there. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Don’t believe what you read.

Where do I start. No window coverings on most windows/sliders. Outlets in bathrooms did not work. TV’s did not work at arrival. No soap in bathrooms. AC was unable to keep space cool. Portable AC unit kept popping breaker. Could not open sliding glass doors. Holes in screens stuffed with newspaper. Porta-Potty in back yard a nice touch. This place was not ready for rental. I would graciously accept a refund.

Sanibel not ready for tourist

It is sad to see the island it such a devastation state. We love Sanibel and were excited about our weekend, not knowing in what state the island was. I am sure the place used to be nice but the house is not in a good shape right now. Sending courage to rebuilt this beautiful sanctuary!

Excellent for pets.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Everything was just as advertised and it was very clean, especially for a beach property. We had our two small dogs with us and the way this cottage is situated, they did not disturb anyone when they barked.
